ajinomoto sam smak serowa (four cheese) instant noodle review

Earlier in January, I discovered these sam smak noodles so ended up buying the four cheese and the spicy chicken.
These noodles are designed to be ready to eat in 3 minutes by just adding boiling water to the in a bowl which I did for the spicy chicken.
It didn't turn out nice so hence the reason, I did not touch the other flavour for two month until now when the cupboard was a bit empty.
Surprisingly, the four cheese noodles were not as bad as anticipated but this time I cooked the noodles which was tastier.
The cheese was not overwhelming but the broth was really viscous so there has to be some emulsifier or some weird ingredient in the broth base.

Delicious Dessert Company Sticky Toffee eclairs

The Delicious Dessert Company’is a new brand under the Bakkavor group which supplies to supermarket chains like M&S.
When I heard about these new eclairs, I just had to get them because they were only £1.50 as an introductory offer.
There are three to choose from: Strawberry, chocolate and Sticky toffee.
In terms of appearance, they were really similar to the eclairs like M&S so I had high expectations for them.
Unfortunately, my local Sainsburys did not stock them so I had to travel to a bigger branch to get them.
On my first visit, there was only strawberry which I did not get because I was mainly interested in the toffee.
The next day, I travelled to that branch of Sainsburys again and there were two boxes of sticky toffee left.
One of the eclairs was the wrong way up hence that box was out of the question but the other box was already opened.
Checking the box, the flaps were not glued and virtually had no glue on them hence with an opened box from production to the supermarket, it could have got contaminated.
The reason I rejected the first box was that it was not picture perfect, as you know the icing sticks.
Unfortunately, I didn't want to fork out on another journey to Sainsburys so I decided to get that opened box as the eclairs inside were better for photos.
Apart from the non sealed box, the sticky toffee eclairs were decadent as expected.
As a whole, the eclair was just amazing and not too sweet with an M&S quality.

McVities Blackcurrant Jaffa Cakes

The Blackcurrant jaffa cakes are another delicious addition to the jaffa cake family.
It was like eating a delicious thin layer of cake topped with dark crackly chocolate and a layer of super soft Rowntrees blackcurrant pastilles.
The jaffa cake flavours I've tried so far are the original, strawberry, blackcurrant, lemon & lime, pineapple, cherry, passion fruit, orange & cranberry.
My favourite so far have to be the Blackcurrant, Strawberry, Cherry and pineapple.
I can't wait to get my hands on the new McVities jonuts.

Sainsburys Broccoli & Tomato quiche review

The Tomato broccoli quiche from Sainsburys looks the part but it was a bit bland.
I was expecting a nice tangy tomato flavour from the layer of tomato puree at the bottom of the quiche but it didn't seem so.

Tesco Finest ruby & dark Belgian chocolate soft baked cookies review

When I spotted these soft baked cookies at Tescos with ruby chocolate I didn't hesitate to get them because ruby chocolate rarely found.
There are 6 in a pack and I have already eaten 3 so that's how good they are.
Although they come out the box hard,  they really do soften up in the microwave.
For hot and gooey chocolate pop them in the microwave for 25 seconds or if you just like them warm then microwave them for 10 seconds.
The shredded coconut in the cookies somehow steals the show as the taste and texture of the coconut seems to be more prominent than the chocolate.
