M&S Marks Spencer eat well Sesame Prawn salad with edamame & sesame dip review

Ever since I tried the edamame & sesame dip which was included in some salad at M&S I fell in love with it.
I love the way M&S mix and matches their successful elements to make different items like this salad.
The salad slaw was also seen in another salad as well as the sesame prawns hence I deconstructed this salad and had it with panini and naan.

Lidl Meadow Fresh caramelized onion houmous & Red pepper houmous

Houmous is really fancy these days so I like trying different brands for comparison.
Caramelized houmous is quite popular so I tried Lidl's version which was surprisingly enjoyable in the sense that it had crisp chunks of caramelized onions which had a lovely sweet twang to it which can get quite sweet at the end.
Rating 3/5

Also tried the red pepper houmous which was a bit too sweet for my liking.
Rating: 3/5

M&S Marks Spencer Gluten Free Wheat Free White Sourdough loaf

Spotted this Gluten Free Wheat Free White Sourdough loaf at M&S so out of curiosity I picked it up to see if it was any different.
The texture of the loaf was incredibly soft and pillowly which is not your usual hard and chewy sourdough so I got it without hesitation.
To be honest, I am not a fan of regular sourdough because of texture but the M&S GF loaf was my ideal because of the texture.
It definitely did not disappoint but it might be a bit crumbly when you handle it.

M&S Marks Spencer Vegetable Bake

I love cauliflower bakes so the vegetable bake was tempting however I was also hesitant in buying it as somehow I didn't think baked vegetables were tasty.
When it was ready, it was bland as expected so adding salt or mustard enhanced the flavour a bit.
Rating: 2/5

[Vegetable] Echalion shallots also known as banana shallots!!

Echalion shallots also known as banana shallots!! The bigger ones are called banana shallots and Echalion shallots for the smaller ones.
I first spotted them at Marks and Spencers where they sold the banana shallots which are the bigger ones.
Ended up getting them as Lidl was doing them for the Pick of the week promotion.
Pickled them and they tasted quite nice and they were natrually sweet which balances the vinegar.

Vifon Polska Instant noodles

As an instant noodle reviewer, I love the choices you can get in the UK.
The Vifon Polish brand of noodles made in Vietnam are quite delicious with so many flavours.
I found them similar to Thai mama noodles.
Flavours I tried were: duck, hot & sour, five spice, crab and tomyum.

Overall, the duck was my favourite and the key to the flavour comes from the paste sachet as I found the soup sachet was the same for a few flavours.

Duck, Five Spice, and Hot & Sour
Crab - Smakrawbowy:
Tom Yum - smaktajski kewetikowy:

Duck - smak kaczki:
This was the flavour I tried first and it really impressed hence I ended up trying more flavours.

Five Spice- Piec Smakow:
The five spice was quite nice but the anise was a bit strong.

Hot & Sour - ostro -kwasna:
The spiciness was good but I found them too sweet.

Crab - smak krabowy:
Surprisingly the paste sachet had an intense crab flavouring so it did make the noodles taste of crab when you added it in.

Tom Yum: smak tajski krewetkowy:
The tom yum tasted how it should but as expected I didn't like the lemongrass.

Chicken:
The golden chicken one just tasted like other chicken noodles so there wasn't any surprises there even though the packet was gold unlike their other flavours.
