[Review] Morrisons Wensleydale & Cranberry Rolls

Christmas is coming and Cranberries are trending again.
At Morrisons they have got a Wensleydale & Cranberry Roll so I got some to try which come four in a bag.
I am not sure if they are vegetarian but overall the roll was too sweet as a whole but I like the way all their pastries are imprinted so you can see what it is.
On the side of the sausage roll you can vaguely see the Wensleydale word.

[Review] Aldi Specially Selected Cranberry Houmous

Christmas is coming so cranberries are added to almost everything.
At Aldi, I spotted the Specially Selected Cranberry Houmous which got me curious because houmous is savoury but then it could work with cranberries because I've seen houmous with apricots.
It is topped with a spiced wine cranberry sauce and chestnuts.
To my surprise, the cranberry houmous was quite tasty because it tasted like Christmas roast because I could taste something similar to stuffing and it was not too sweet overall.

[Review] Sainsburys Raspberry Trifle

The Sainsburys raspberry trifle was not bad. I loved the generous cream and custard but sadly the raspberry seeds were annoying.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Sherry Trifle

There are quite a few trifles at M&S.
The M&S Sherry trifle was shockingly good because the vanilla custard had vanilla seeds and the sherry part at the bottom was delicious because the trifle as a whole was not too sweet.

[Review] Lidl Birchwood unsmoked back bacon

I love bacon so tried the Lidl Birchwood unsmoked back bacon.
The good thing about this bacon is that it is thinly sliced and it is quite tasty.
It was pretty to photograph because there was a pretty holographic opal green sheen to it which is perfectly normal.
These holographic sheens are caused by unusual chemical reaction of nitrites with the meat protein myoglobin.
Saying that, I don't see much of this with other brands.

[Review] Holy Moly Overnight oats - Tropical fruits and smashed avocado

Holy Moly specializes in dips but now they have overnight oats.
I was captivated by the tropical flavour overnight oats by Holy moly which is quite different to the usual strawberry and chocolate.
I was hoping the pineapple taste to be stronger but the banana dominated and you couldn't taste the almond milk in it as well.
Interestingly the texture of the oats was like finely minced chicken breast meat so I wonder if one day overnight oats would be used to make mock chicken.

Also tried the smashed avocado and it was seriously delicous.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chocolate Sponge pudding

Who doesn't love chocolate sponge pudding.
The M&S chocolate sponge pudding is soft and fluffy with rich chocolate sauce and only costs £2 which is the same as other supermarkets so I'm definitely buying M&S puddings again.
