[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Iced Raspberry Soft Buns

I love iced buns so tried Marks and Spencers Iced Raspberry Soft Buns.
It was a bit over the top with jam in the middle.
To be honest, it was good quality jam because it was seedless but it was just too sweet with jam and icing.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers NEW 5 Iced Soft Buns

It's strange that these M&S iced soft buns are new but then I don't remember seeing them before except the iced buns with raspberry jam inside.
I prefer these over the raspberry because the jam filling and icing was too much for me in a tiny bun.
Simple iced buns are just the best.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Portuguese Custard Tart

After trying Portuguese Tarts from Lidl and Morrisions, I just had to try Portuguese Tart from M&S to compare.
Visually, it appealed to me because the surface of the custard filling was that brown and the pastry was white.
The filling was delicious but I think it is just the same filling used in their M&S Vanilla slices.
Overall the best filling compared to Lidl and Morrison but the pastry lacked layers as it was too buttery and oily.

[Review] Tesco Finest 4 Milk Chocolate & Orange Cookies

I'm so glad I got these chocolate orange cookies because they were amazing.
I hesitated getting them before because I wasn't sure if the orange was going to be artificial but it turns out to be orange zest.
The orange zest pieces were the star of the show with the chocolate pieces.
Definitely goes well with tea.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Blueberry & Coconut Pot

I was purely curious so I tried the Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Blueberry & Coconut Pot.

There is nothing wrong with it but I just felt that the creamy coconut taste was too overwhelming but it does taste like yoghurt with blueberries in it.

[Review] Morrisons Roasted Vegetable Pie

Tried the roasted vegetable pie from Morrisons and it was not how I expected it to be.

I was expecting vegetables in gravy but the filling was more like ratatouille which doesn't taste good with pastry.

I think vegetables with tomatoes taste better with pasta not pastry.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Our Best Ever Trifle

For years, I have been having the trifles at M&S which has always been flawless.
This year they have launched the M&S Marks and Spencers Our Best Ever Trifle. along with other products in the "Our Best Ever" range.
Their Best Ever trifle certainly intrigued me because trifle is essentially three four parts: cream, custard, sponge and jelly.
So with these four simple elements how could they make it more indulgent than the regular one.
After I tried it, I felt that the cream and custard was just the regular cream and custard they use but the jelly part was improved with raspberry compote which complemented it nicely.
It is interesting that their M&S Sherry trifle was also shockingly good because the vanilla custard had vanilla seeds and why they didn't use this in the Best Ever trifle because I thought it tasted really nice and vanilla seeds would look the part in the best ever trifle.
Overall, I liked it but I felt that it came in close ties their Sherry Trifle which is another delicious trifle.
