[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chunky Chips

Recently tried Marks and Sparks Frites which i did not like because they were too hard and dry so this time I got the chunky chips hoping they would be fluffy inside.
The chunky chips were slightly better but they were still dry.
Definitely won't be getting them again but saying that the Sweet potato chips worked out nicely.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer Rope Grown Scottish Mussels in Garlic and Shallot sauce

Although M&S have been selling mussels since 2013 I don't recall seeing them on my daily visits.
When I spotted them today I decided to try them.
There are two to choose from: Garlic and Shallot and White wine and parsley sauce.

Inside the pack, there are two packs which makes it easy for serving and portioning for two people.

The mussels can be cooked in the microwave, boiled in the bag or taken out the bag to cook.

For me, I boiled them in the bag so that it was easier to serve.

As for the taste, I really enjoyed it because they taste just as good as the ones in the restaurants however the sauce was really salty.
I planned to use that sauce on the chips but it turned out that I didn't need much.
The quality of the mussels surprised me because I only found 3 hairy ones in my batch so I probably will buy this again as they are inexpensive and easy to cook.

Second round of buying these mussels again!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer Smoky Chipotle Slaw

At Marks and Sparks there are so many different slaws to choose from like cheese slaw, beetroot slaw etc.
Since I have already tried the others I got the Chipotle Slaw which was really different and I liked the way it had sweet drop chilli peppers which I haven't tried before.

The taste of the slaw was really good and far better than regular coleslaw as it was not as sweet with a lovely smoky flavours.

Those sweet drop chilli peppers added a spicy kick to it they are different to other chillis in the sense the texture is a bit like tomato with a juicy inside bursting with a sweet and fiery taste.

[Review] Jake & Nayn's Chipotle BBQ Pork Burrito

Jake & Nayn's specializes in filled naan which I have previous tried.
This time I discovered the burrito which was filled with Chipotle BBQ Pork.

Overall, it was quite nice because the filling was satisfying and it was smokey and sweet with wholesome kidney beans and rice.

[Review] Sainsburys 2 Ultimate Samosas, Taste the Difference

I had the Sainsburys Taste the Difference Ultimate Samosa while ago.
It was nice but I just remembered it was a bit too spicy.

[Review] Morrisons Garlic Chicken Kievs

After trying some awful chicken kievs from O'Kane I wasn't keen on eating more Kievs but this was in the fridge because someone got it.
The next day we had it for lunch and the Garlic Chicken Kievs were the best I have had.
Although it is made with reconstituted breast meat but it was really palatable like chicken nuggets and the garlic butter in the middle was heavenly and garlicky just like the garlic butter you find in quality garlic breads.
Overall, I was impressed and I would find having this again.

[Review] Morrisons Chilli & Cheese Quiche

A while ago tried the Cheese and Onion quiche from Morrisons which was ok so tried something fancier this time!
I got the mini Morrisons Chilli & Cheese Quiche which is good enough for one.
The spiciness of the chilli is really hot so be warned.
Overall worth trying if chilli is your thing but you can't really taste the cheese in it.
