Ottogi cheese bokki

Got these cup noodles that were cheese flavoured.

They are Korean and the instructions did not make sense to me so I guessed the instructions.

I poured boiling water to the level marking on the outside of the bowl which is lower than the indented ridge in the bowl and then added the cheese powder.

After a while the noodles were soft and ready to eat.

I did not like it at all because the texture of the noodles were foamy and the cheese did not taste like cheese.
It just tasted like milk powder with a hint of cheese and it was sweet.

In comparision to the Iron Buddha flavour, I preferred the Iron buddha because I am not a fan of Pu ehr.

Samudra Pandan cake

http://samudrafood.com/daily_products.htm

Usually Pandan cakes are from Singapore, but this one is was from Malaysia.

When the box was opened there was a really nice strong pandan coconut smell.

The texture of the cake was nice and soft but coarser than the Singaporean version.

Häagen-Dazs Secret Sensations meringue & raspberry fondant

Previously tried the Häagen-Dazs Secret Sensations creme brulee and the Häagen-Dazs Secret Sensations chocolate fondant.
This time they had Häagen-Dazs Secret Sensations meringue & raspberry fondant so tried it as well.

Basically it is vanilla ice-cream with pieces of meringue in it and the centre is liquid raspberry jam/syrup.

When I tried it, it just tasted like Walls Raspberry ripple with pieces of crispy meringue in it.

A1 Bak Kut Teh Instant Noodles

I love Bak Kut Teh especially because of the strong  herbal smell and taste of dong guai.
However I do not know how to make real Bak Kut Teh so I satisfy my cravings by going to restaurants.
A1 also does a Bak Kut Teh soup pack so their instant noodles are probably not far off.

I have tried instant noodles in Bak kut teh soup but because there was real spare ribs in the broth, I found it quite oily, also the type of instant noodles they used did not match the broth.
When I opened the packet for the A1 Bak Kut Teh instant noodles, I knew I was going to like the noodles, because they were thinner than the usual instant noodles.

Also when I opened the soup powder sachet, the strong was really strong and I loved it.

The noodles are cooked in the usual way and I prefer to leave them harder to start with so that it soaks the broth when it gets softer.

The taste of these noodles were truly great but they were quite pricey.
