McVities Christmas Pudding and Gingerbread digestive biscuits review 2020

I was looking for the new festive Christmas Pudding and Gingerbread digestive biscuits at Co-op on my last visit and couldn't find them.

Went back again and discovered they were on the bottom corner of the shelf.

Why oh why did co-op have to put the new and exciting biscuits in an unnoticeable place.

A few weeks later, these new biscuits were at a better location and they had the McVities gingerbread digestives as well.

Ended up getting both.

According to the comments, the Christmas pudding is better so I tried that first.
You get the typical taste of chocolate digestives followed by spices.

As for the gingerbread digestive, there wasn't much gingerbread taste which was disappointing.
The ginger taste was so light that you had to concentrate your senses to taste it.

Overall, I am glad I tried but at a reduced price because they were not worth the hype at full price.

Boots NEW festive VEGAN no turkey sandwich and vegan Christmas Market sandwich [review]

New Vegan festive sandwiches at Boots for Christmas!
Boots have launched the festive VEGAN no turkey sandwich as well as vegan Christmas Market sandwich.

Vegan No Turkey Feast

Vegan Christmas Market with vegan sausage
I ended up getting the Vegan Christmas Market sandwich because the no turkey was similar to the Lidl and M&S one which is just soya chunks.
Saying that, the Boots Vegan no turkey does seem good because it has red cabbage in it.
The Vegan sausage sandwich was definitely good as expected because they had the vegan breakfast sandwich which deemed popular hence the Christmas Market sandwich.
Apart from the onion jam being too sweet, the taste was amazing because the finely chopped cabbages gave it a nice crunch and the sausage slices were herby.
As well as the tasty sandwich, the sandwich box was well designed on each side especially the colourful stripes on the side but the bauble with 404 calories reminds me of the internet error 404 or perhaps I am too nerdy.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cranberry & Clementine Jaffa Cakes

While Jaffa Cakes have come up with Cranberry & Orange, M&S have got the Cranberry & Clementine jaffa cakes for Christmas.

Unlike their regular jaffa cakes, this one has dark chocolate and a chocolate sponge base.

After trying them, I was a bit annoyed I couldn't taste the cranberry although the citrus sharp flavours were there.

As mentioned on Adam & Val's youtube review a year ago, he could not taste any Cranberry which is disappointing as they did not improve the recipe.

Saying that, the festive jaffa cake box it nice.

[Review] Coop Irresistible All Butter Pastry Winter Eve's Pudding Tarts

Bought these Coop Irresistible All Butter Pastry Winter Eve's Pudding Tarts which are basically spiced apple and vanilla tarts topped with vanilla sponge and a sprinkle of stars.
The best thing is that they are topped with cute edible festive golden stars.

I really wished I had bought them earlier because from a glance I thought they were mince pies.

They were delicious because who doesn't love spiced apple and vanilla.
The filling is oozing with custard and spiced apple.
