The Marks Spencers Select Farms Sliced White Mushrooms were extremely convenient as they were sliced and they made part of a delicious breakfast.

Wild Mushroom Risotto - Ainsley Harriott

I have always wanted to try this so finally bought it.

I hesistated before because I do not like cooking then I had a spark of inspiration to put the contents in a rice cooker and leave it.
Saying that, you do need to keep an eye on it or the risotto will be burnt and dry.
From my experience, its best to leave it in the cooker and when the water is nearly absorbed its ready to serve.
I did not measure the water because it was bothersome, so I put one part of rice with two parts of water.
For normal rice it is one to one, but I had a feeling risotto would be harder so I put two parts.

In the end, the risotto was delicious, the mushroom taste was strong.

Althought there was an extremely creamy smell when the packet was opened, it did not taste that way and I am now tempted to buy the other flavours:

"Select" Mushroom pasta

Microwave instant pasta with simple instructions.
The box comes with a packet of flavoring and dried mushrooms.
It was a simple case of putting the items in the box, filling water up to the marking and then microwaving it for 5 minutes.
Overall the pasta came out al-dente, and the taste was OK, for a stronger taste use less water.

Doll's instant microwave pasta

Interesting noodles in a cardboard cup, just like US chinese takeaways.
This one is ready to serve after adding water to the it and microwaving it.

The texture and taste of the pasta is more like undercooked ramen.

Also it is hard to get the pasta evenly done.
