Rhubarb & Custard flavour gastropaint and Dill oil flavour pearls

After trying this Spanish brand of fish pearls, I was really happy to discover a local brand of pearls and gastropaint by Imaginative Cuisine.
They had everything from beetroot dust to truffle pearls but my eyes were immediately drawn to the Rhubarb & Custard gastropaint and Dill oil flavoured pearls.
The dill oil pearls were bursting with flavour which I am partial to because I love dill so it would be nice to add it to any dish with these pretty green pearls.
I was really happy to see the Rhubarb & Custard flavoured gastropaint because the rhubarb trend is revived.
Even if its not fresh rhubarb, it is always good to see traditional things reinvented into other forms before it dies off.

At the Specialty fine food fair, there was a preview of the new range as well as Christmas popcorn.








Coop cloudy apple

Another nice apple juice drink but Cloudy apple is relatively nicer than regular apple juice.


Jimmy's ice coffee Oat

This had nice sweet aromas and taste which is palatable to coffee beginners.



Marsel Delights, the modern Turkish Delight

We all grew up with The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe hence the love for Turkish Delight.
Enter Marsel Delights which is the modern take on of Turkish Delight with reduced sugar and creative flavours like Sour cherry, pistachio, sea salt caramel and Rose with blackberries.
They come in attractive boxes that get your attention.
This was definitely up my alley because I like sweet but not too sweet treats so the sour cherry and pistachio are my thing.
The sea salt & caramel flavour was to my liking because I like that chewy soft texture carrying that flavour.

Vegan Scotch EGGS by Veg Life!!

100% Vegan Egg!!
As a foodie I eat anything that's edible legally, never in my dreams would I have imagined a 100% vegan egg that tastes and feels just like a boiled egg.
A big shout out to Veg Life makers of this vegan Scotch egg.
The texture of the egg white is bang on, its soft but has that resistance with a cross between jelly and konjac, then the egg yolk is starchy like how it should be as well as the plant sausage meat which is seasoned to perfection.
They also do pickled eggs which I am going to buy ASAP.

WTF! Wine That's Fruit!!

WTF!! Indeed what it stands for WINE THAT'S FRUITS!
Not boring red or white grapes but now you can get wine that's made with apples, strawberry, whitecurrant or blackcurrant.
Fabulously an English product.
I tried the strawberry which was impressive to the nose as well as the palate because you can really taste that strawberry.
Similar to this strawberry infused gin but now you can get wine which would go down well with dinners and any occasion.
Will get my hands on the blackcurrant to try one day.
