[Review] Walkers Discos Crisps

Crisps are snacks that I eat all the time but this is one that I've eaten since I was young but never reviewed so decided to review it now.

Strangely, the present Discos taste different in the sense that the crisps are thicker and harder.
There are flavours: Prawn cocktail, Salt and Vinegar, Cheese and Onion.

The Salt and vinegar is the best, the prawn cocktail is very acidic while the cheese and onion tasted a bit off in the way it was a little bit rancid.
Perhaps the crisps are thicker than they were before because when you open the packet, there isn't many inside!

[Review] Walkers Originally Smiths salt and shake crisps

I have always been obsessed with originally smiths salt and shake crisps salt sachet.
The salt inside the dark blue sachet are perfectly spherical balls.
For people with a low sodium diet, these are the only crisps that do not contain salt so I would definitely recommend these crisps to them if they have a crisps craving.

[Review] Violife Cheese

A while ago I had these vegan meatballs at Subway for Veganuary.
The meatballs were not nice but the thing that saved the day was the vegan cheese on top which came from Violife.
The cheese slices melted and tasted like cheddar so I would definitely recommend this brand.

I looked everywhere for it and finally found them at Marks and Spencers where they come in a form of block, grated, slices and even creamy spread.

[Review] M&S Bramley Apple Turnovers

Marks and Spencers has the best sweet treats so went there to get my cream cravings.
Got the Bramley apple turnover which contain delicious freshly whipped cream.
The apple turnovers have to be eaten asap before the pasty gets soggy. I love that lovely balance of tart crisp apple cubes and cream encased in the light puff pastry dusted with powdered sugar.
I am not sure if they have changed the recipe as the one I tried in December 2018 has sugar on top but the one here clearly had caster sugar (powdered sugar) which is delicate and gives it some subtle sweetness.

[Review] Tesco Taramasalata 200G

Taramasalata is one of my favourite dips but not all of them are nice because some can be too smokey or too fishy but the Tesco Greek Inspired Marinated cod roe mixed with bread rusk and lemon juice was brilliant.
The colour and consistency was good, it was fluffy and creamy which would go really well with some decent chips!

[Review] Tesco Strawberry Jam Donuts / Doughnuts

I felt like having something sweet so got the Tesco Strawberry Jam Donuts which have fresh cream in them.
There is also a custard version which I have been meaning to try but not all Tescos have them as strawberry is more popular.
The plastic tray that holds the donut is specially designed so that the cream does not touch the box.
Well done Tesco!
Anyway, the donut was light and fluffy as stated and the cream and jam were flawless so it definitely satisfied my sweet cravings.

[Review] Co-op Ham, Cheese and Pickle Sandwich

Just felt like a sandwich, so got the Co-op Ham, Cheese and Pickle Sandwich.
It was ok but I felt that the pickles didn't have enough punch as it veered towards the sweet side while the ham was a bit thin.
The lettuce in it was annoying as well.
