bubbleology mixology kits at ASDA : Taro milk tea reviewed

Bubbleology is a bubble tea joint that has been established in the UK for a while and now they have these bubble tea kits that were new to ASDA a few months ago.
It took me a while to get motivated to make it even though they are simple to execute.
To make it extra special, I made it with CAMEL milk which makes it creamier.
In the pack, you get a straw, pearls and taro powder.
All you do is dissolve the taro powder and then add milk.
The pearls are cooked in the microwave and I am so glad I tried it before adding it to the drink because they are so sweet.
I swirled the pearls in some water before adding it to the drink to remove some of the sweetness which worked.
To summarize, the taro drink was to my liking as it was creamy and not too sweet.

Sainsburys Tomato ketchup

Tomato ketchup has always been Heinz so I thought I'd try a different brand for a change.
This time I tried Sainsbury's.
Clearly the taste was so different.
It was tasted like more like tomato puree so you get strong umami from the tomatoes and it was quite sweet and vinegary at the same time.
I felt that if I was served this in a restaurant, I would be impressed because it tasted like a natural ketchup made with real tomatoes but because it is a supermarket dupe, it felt like a bottle of cheap pasta puree.

Free soft serve from the oatly soft serve tour

At the oatly soft serve tour, they are giving out free Oatly soft serve and a drink.
I went along to give it a try as especially since it was made with oat milk.
I've seen people dip fries in soft serve before which I thought was weird but didn't realize it was a thing!!
The soft serve tasted how it should that you wouldn't suspect it was oat milk.
Can't wait to see it being served everywhere.
Thank you oatly.

Lidl Fresh Baguette from the bakery

This was a seriously good baguette for 35p.
I don't normally get their bakery but it looked better than some other supermarkets.
Everyone's requirements are different, I just wanted a pale one thats not to crusty as I was going to warm it up again.

Lidl Alma Latima Avocado Burger Patties and Fries

I was quite impressed to find avocado fries and avocado burger patties at Lidl so I gave them a try because these are things that I would order from restaurants.
This is probably the first time trying their Latin range.
To summarize, both were quite good but a bit too spicy.
The patty was like eating coarse avocado guacamole in a crispy coating and the avocado fries were good just like restaurant quality.
It was creamy and soft but the coating was too spicy and salty that it stole the show from the avocado.

Ben Shaw's Dandelion and Burdock

Dandelion & Burdock drink is an old English drink.
Unfortunately, it is not my cup of tea because it tasted like liquorice.
Perhaps, I might like this when I'm older.

Chef Kuo chicken fresh noodles

Finally tried these 29p Chef Kuo noodles from Farmfoods.
As expected, the noodles are similar to those vacuum packed udon because there is this plastic smell when you open them.
Apart from that, they were nice because of the sauces.
The red oil sachet is where most of the chicken flavours comes from which is spicy as well.
There is another sachet of crispy onion and sesame bits which I didn't use as I don't like them.
If you don't like the sauces, you can probably add bolognaise sauce and it would taste good.
I thought the box could be reused but there are holes on the corner of the lid for draining off the water.
