Sainsburys Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cherry with amaretto - Taste the difference Autumn edition

Wensleydale cheese is just a sweet cheese in my opinion.
In the recent years all you see is these sweet pairings like chocolate, blueberries, orange, mince pie, strawberry prosecco, rhubarb etc.
Sainsburys have launched this new pairing with Cherry and amaretto which I was more than keen to try as I just love cherries.
Unfortunately, there are also cranberries in this so you don't get as much cherries as one would hope.
Having tried the Tesco Rhubarb Wensleydale, Ilchester Spiced Blueberry Hot Cross Bun and double chocolate orange, this is probably the best Wensleydale pairing because the cheese overall is not as sweet.
I do love the big pieces of cherry every now and then and you can really taste the amaretto which has this beautiful almond flavour to it.
Overall, this is definitely my favourite Wensleydale as all the flavours are strong coming from the cheese to the cherry as well as the amaretto.

Sainsburys wholewheat medium noodles

Spotted these wholewheat medium noodles by Sainsburys but not all stores seem to stock them so I decided to give then a try.
They look like they cook fast but they take a while to get soft.
Once they go soft, the texture is just like your regular instant noodles but it contains a lot of wheat which you can really feel when you chew them.

Sainsburys rhubarb custard lattice

Spotted the rhubarb custard lattice on my regular visit to Sainsburys.
They visually looked good with the pink rhubarb in the middle so I just had to get it.
Although there was not much custard I was still impressed as there was lots of rhubarb.
Overall, it was good and tasted better than Morrisons rhubarb custard slice which was just sweet custard.

Boundless Activated snacking Sea salt & cider vinegar activated chips

These snacks seem quite fancy by the description.
To summarize, I felt that are a salt and vinegar version of maize cereal.

Kabuto noodles Miso ramen, Chicken, Singapore noodles

I came accross Kabuto noodles while ordering groceries on ocado.
Ocado was the only place that you could get miso ramen which was why I ordered it.
The miso ramen noodles were really impressive as the quality was not like your usual pot noodles especially the broth.
They were similar to egg noodles and the miso one contained tasty nigella seeds and all that green herbs.
After trying the miso, I was expecting the chicken to be good but it was not to my liking because of the turmeric.
The Singapore noodles were slightly better but the broth was a bit bland so best to put less water in the pot.

deliciously ella berry granola

Definitely an extravagant granola with all those quality berries.

Asda Spicy crumpet wedges

All I could think of was pizza slices when I saw these.
Anyway, as a crumpet lover, I had to give them a try.
I believe they were previously frozen as they have water droplets inside the bag.
Taking them out the packet, there was a mixed aroma which was quite impressive because I was just expecting plain crumpets with cayenne pepper, but it was much more complex than that.
Looking at the ingredients, I was surprised with what they put in like tomato powder, cumin, coriander, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, red bell peppers, lime oil, cayenne pepper, oregano and coriander leaf.
Tasting it on its own, it was like the usual spiced flatbread, naan but with a crumpet texture.
I paired with some spicy houmous which turned out quite tasty.
I feel that it needs to be paired with something savoury and tangy.
Overall, it was quite nice but the oregano was a bit too strong for my liking as it was too prominent.
