McVities Salted caramel club review

It has been a while since I had a McVities club because you just take it granted that it is always there and you end up buying other things instead.

Just like your regular club, it has a thin layer of cream on biscuit covered in chocolate.

The salted caramel club was simply lovely good with tea.

It tasted like a twix covered in thick chocolate without the chewy texture.

Ma Ling Canned preserved Chinese Radish (Whole)

Overall, a tasty preserved Chinese Radish which is salty and spicy.

It needs some rinsing before you cook so that the dish won't become overall salty.

ASDA Cherry Bakewell Swiss Roll

Cherry Bakewell is one of those flavours that I do not hesistate to buy.
This time I fell for ASDA's new cherry bakewell Swiss roll which is labelled as Swiss roll swirled with plum and raspberry jam with almond cherry filling.
In a way, it is confusing to see where the cherry almond filling is because the jam part is clear just plum and raspberry.
However when you eat the Swiss roll, there is a prominent cherry almond flavouring but overall too sweet.
Will be having this with some custard or cream to balance the sweetness.

Romanian Turkey Jelly Piftie Galaretka Drobiowa Z indyka

Ever since I saw pictures of turkey jelly during Christmas I have been meaning to try it.

It is a traditional dish in Romania called Piftie (Turkey Jelly) made with pork trotters, rind, ears and feet according to the info online which makes sense as all that becomes collagen when you boil it down.

Less calorific recipes can be made with turkey.

Overall, the turkey jelly was how I imagined it to be, the jelly was savoury like jellied eels but with a firmer texture.

The jelly had turkey thigh meat, sweetcorn, peas and some egg but it could have done with more salt.

While I was eating it, I am so annoyed that I forgot to some add chilli vinegar just like you do with jellied eels.

Anyway, I am glad I tried Piftie because it was nice.

At the Polish supermarkets, you can buy Turkey jelly, Pork Jelly or Chicken.

canowater reusable cans

Spotted these reusable cans with resealable ring pull at Tescos.
Overall good but the only problem is that it would dent easily when the can is empty.
