Seabrooks Ready Salted, Prawn Cocktail & Beef Flavoured Crisps

Seabrooks is one of those underrated crisps so I decided to review it as well as Golden Wonder.
I got one of each flavour as they don't have small assorted bags.

Ready Salted:
It was really tasty but I was expecting the salt to be stronger.

Prawn Cocktail:
I think they are possibly the only flavour that are crinkled.
Anyway, there was an interesting fishy smell but the flavour was full on and had so many dimensions from ketchup to prawn cocktail.

Beef:
I was expecting the crisps to have a dark seasoning but they were quite light in colour.
Overall, a nice savoury taste like gravy but I was hoping for a more beefy or stronger taste.

M&S Plant Kitchen VLT sandwich & No lamb shawarma wrap

For Veganuary 2022, M&S have launched two new items to the grab and go section.
These are the VLT and No lamb shawarma.
Visually looking at the VLT, the vacon looks like the same stuff you get for the no pork streaky bacon launched last year.
It is labelled as wheat and protein rashers with vegan baconnaise.
Reading the ingredients, I was really surprised to see things like orange, peach, hibiscus and black carrot.
As for the taste, it was like eating a really tasty ham sandwich with tomatoes and lettuce with a really punchy sauce.
The vacon inside the sandwich looks like it just came out of the packet ie not fried or anything so I believe the chilled one from M&S does not require cooking either so you can just eat it like that.
After all, it is plant based and most of it is made from wheat so I think you can eat it like that.
Overall I would really recommend this but I think they could have added some crispy onions or something crispy to give it that bacon mouthfeel.

Also tried the No lamb shawarma wrap which is labelled as no lamb shawarma on a soft flatbread with garlic dressing and tomato chilli sauce.
I warmed it up and little and it was really tasty because of the dressing and it had quite a spicy kick.
The spiciness and taste was similar to one of the M&S Curries.
Overall recommended but I prefer the VLT sandwich.
For improvements, I feel that the chip sticks should be in a separate sachet to keep them crisp while they are at the shops.

M&S Ponzu salmon & avocado dragon roll

The Marks and Spencers Ponzu salmon & avocado dragon roll looked captivating and the ponzu sounded appetizing so tried it.
It was labelled made with orange peel in the ingredients but it was strange I could only taste Clementine/Mandarin.
Although there was no ponzu taste whatever, the dragon rolls were nice overall.
For their clementine hot chocolate I couldn't taste the clementine but only orange.
Perhaps the citrus ingredients should be swapped for these two products.

Waitrose Cheese and onion soufflettes

During Christmas, there were lots of party food offered at different supermarkets.
M&S had the cheesy profiteroles and Waitrose had the cheese and onion soufflettes which are quite similar.
To be honest, I was bowled over by the Waitrose soufflettes because they were light and fluffy similar to American popover with a cheesy taste.
I expect the M&S profiteroles to be in a similar fashion but presented in a different shape.

Heinz Big Soup Minted Lamb

When I saw this soup, I had a feeling it would be good so I got it.
To be honest, it did not disappoint and the taste was really comforting with the mint and there were chunk of lamb which had a good texture after it was heated in the microwave.
Although you could argue it is a bit like baby food but with a stronger and richer taste.
I admit I eat baby food too so I can confirm it is similar with bigger chunks of carrot and potatoes.

Sainsburys bread sauce review

I go to Sainsburys a lot and I must admit, I never saw the bread sauce around Christmas.
Strangely I saw it in the reduced section in January.
As a bread sauce lover, I had to try it.
Overall it was a nice creamy sauce which goes well with roast.

Mini hidden Clementine Christmas Pudding from Waitrose by Heston

I bought this Mini hidden Clementine Christmas Pudding from Waitrose by Heston for my mum so didn't try it.
Here is what the inside looks like.
