M&S Scottish Maple cured salmon pieces

Every time see these Scottish Maple cured salmon pieces, I have been holding back to buy because the Maple makes it sound sweet.
Anyway, finally tried it and it was not to my liking because it was sweet and just tastes like Salmon Jerky.

Finnebrogue Naked Without the Cluck! 2 No Chicken Kievs

The Finnebrogue Naked Without the Cluck! No Chicken Kievs were reduced so tried them.
They reheated well giving a nice crispy surface and the garlic filling was delicious, however the plant kiev texture was a bit firm and chewy.
Rating: 3/5

M&S Select Farms Purple Cauliflower

It's not the first time I have had purple cauliflower as along with yellow/orange, green and regular white cauliflower.
Anyway, Marks and Spencers had them too so I got some for pickling as well as for my dishes.
Overall, it was pretty and a pleasure to eat.
Below is a tricoloured cauliflower dish with cheese.

Aldi West Country Mature cheese & cracked black pepper scones and All butter chocolate scones

I was unaware my favourite makers of scones are doing scones for Aldi until JSR mentioned it.
Aldi has two new scones in the range: West Country Mature cheese & cracked black pepper scones and All butter chocolate scones.
Having had too much sweet stuff lately, I tried the cheese scone first.
As soon as you open the wrapper there is a lovely cheesy smell.
Each scone is uniformly shaped.
Tried one at room temperature on its own, moist and moreish without anything because it was really cheesy with an aromatic black pepper aftertaste.
The second scone was warmed and had butter spread on.
It was light and crumbly where the black pepper flavours came out even more.
Although it became a little drier warmed up, the butter makes up for it and I feel that just butter or marmite butter would definitely be the best pairing.
However if you warm them in the microwave wrapped in kitchen towel for 10 seconds they do not go dry.
Overall, I rate these as really delicious cheesy scones and the black pepper they used was a good one because you only see a few specks but it really comes through.

The next day I tried the all butter chocolate scones.

Aldi All butter chocolate scones:
Basically you can imagine them like a chocolate cake with a scone texture.
I tried then on their own and I liked the way you get proper chocolate without being cloyingly sweet because with some chocolate products you just get the sugar and no chocolateness.
Being traditional, I paired it with thick cream and it was delicious but ideally whipped cream/squirty cream will be ideal for scone!
Will post a photo later for the squirty cream because the lightness of whipped cream goes really well with the chocolate scone, best paired with the unsweetened whipped cream from M&S.
I wouldn't say the chocolate scone is that adventurous because some makers outside of UK are doing interesting flavours some good and some weird like Seasalt chocolate, Baileys biscoff, matcha mochi, sesame red bean.
As a fan of chocolate cherry I also paired it with my favourite Tescos cherry scone and they tasted really good together because the chocolate gets complimented by the sour cherries.

Naked Noodles remedy room experience

As a noodle lover I attended a remedy room experience by Naked Noodles.
It was to help get rid guilty feelings after eating Pot Noodles which I confess I do eat as well as Super Noodles.
The experience involved cleansing sound baths.
Symingtons who owns Naked did a poll and asked 2,000 Brits which noodle brands they would feel guilty eating. One in four opted for Pot Noodle, followed by just over 17% choosing for Super Noodles.
For me, it's a close tie between Pot Noodle and Super Noodles.

The pop was located in Shoreditch so it was a convenient and hip location where many events and happenings take place.

At the experience, there was a Naked therapist who assesses our habits.
The next stage was the gong therapy with a sound bath.
It was then followed by aromatic awakening therapy with fresh ingredients that are used in Naked Noodles.

The last journey was the sand therapy.

Finally it was time to indulge on some comforting yet guilty free noodles because all the ingredients are natrual.

I tried the Thai Green Curry noodles which were delicious.
It is my favourite along with the fiery penang chicken noodles.
To be honest, they have such a big range so I can't wait to try the other flavours.

Milkyway Biscuits

As soon as these milkyway biscuits were at the shops I had to get them.
They are nothing like the milkyway bar but just plain biscuits covered with chocolate which makes them simply delicious.
As well as the taste, I liked the way the biscuits were thin with different designs.
However, you don't seem to get an even distribution of each design.

M&S Piri Piri Chicken Breast Escalopes

Marks and Spencers have definitely nailed the Piri Piri flavours.
If you liked the M&S piri piri houmous, the taste is similar but piri piri chicken is the best pairing.
The chicken was tender and moist and the flavouring was strong and fiery.
