Lidl Deluxe Spinach & Pine nut pasta

Ever since I had that delicious pesto pasta from M&S, I regained my love for pesto.
This time I spotted the Lidl Deluxe Spinach & Pine nut pasta which reminded me of it but the dressing for this one seemed better because it was spinach and basil dressing.
To be honest, it was actually really good in terms of taste as well as visually.
I liked the way they used Riccioli pasta which gives it that restaurant quality and the Regato shavings looked substantial.
The cheesy kick and pesto were well balanced and the pine kernels were delicious.
Although it was a salad, the pasta tasted even better warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds which helped loosen the pasta and melt the cheese.
Rating: 5/5

Joe & Sephs Milk chocolate salted caramel popcorn stars and Marmite Gourmet popcorn

I love anything star shaped so had to buy these milk chocolate popcorn stars.
The saltiness in the chocolate was nice paired with popcorn!!
I like the way the chocolate stars are big and decadent.
Overall, a must try because it is so unusual to get popcorn stuck to a star shaped chocolate.
It makes me wonder how they were even made. My guess is that they probably have a tray of star shaped chocolate and sprinkle popcorn until it sticks on each chocolate star.

I ended up getting Joe & Sephs again because they had marmite gourmet popcorn!
According to the label, it is crunchy popcorn covered in lovely marnmite.
With Marmite! you either hate it or love it.
Obviously I love it and they were so addictive and tasted like M&S marmite butter on crispy light popcorn.
The addition of marmite on other products have made me buy things that I don't normally buy like popcorn and peanut butter.

Tesco Finest Maple Bacon & Extra Mature Cheddar Quiche

I love quiche so treated myself to the Tesco Finest Maple Bacon & Extra Mature Cheddar Quiche.
It was similar to this other quiche I had which had maple bacon.
At the store, the slices of maple bacon looked good so I grabbed one with lean slices of maple bacon.
When I opened the box, there was a lovely cheesy smell coming from the mature cheddar.
If you put it in the oven for the right time, the bacon comes out nice and crispy.
The cheesy egg custard tasted excellent complimented nicely by the crisp aromatic bacon.
Overall I loved this quiche so I shall try the other quiches in the Tesco finest range.

Sainsburys Chanteney carrots and honey roast parsnip soup Taste the Difference

While I was at the soup aisle in Sainsburys, I spotted so many delectable soups.
The pairing of Chanteney carrots and honey-roast parsnip sounded good as a soup so decided to try it.
It was quite a warming soup as it had a gingery flavour with smooth blended carrots so it was quite comforting.
As well as the warming kick, you can really taste the carrots which is really good.
Overall I liked it and will be trying the other soups in the range soon.

Boots Spicy Bean & Cheese Wrap

Spotted the Boots Spicy Bean & Cheese wrap reduced to 50p so ended up trying it.
Overall a lovely spicy kick along with wholesome starchy beans.
The only thing I didn't like was the sweetness and the cheese wasn't prominent.

Popchips Veg vibes Sea Salt & Balsamic vinegar

Popchips which are made of chickpeas, rice and sweet potato were seriously delicious and moreish.
The taste was quite different to your usual Salt and vinegar because Balsamic gives it more dept and it was a bit similar to prawn cocktail flavoured crisps.
I think marmite or a beefy flavour would also taste good.
