M&S Marks Spencer Chicken Dhansak

As a curry lover I feel that I have to try every curry in the M&S range!
The chicken Dhansak was one that I have not tried so tried it.
According to the sleeve, the Dhansak curry is Chana lentils in a hot and sour sauce with chicken.
The curry itself was quite spicy and as th sleeve said had lots of lentils.
I felt that this curry was not for me as I am not a fan of lentil but it would make a nutritious curry if lentils are your thing.

M&S Marks Spencer Steak & Kidney Pie

I just love Steak and Kidney pie, well who doesn't from the UK.
The M&S version is really good as they do not skimp on the kidney as you will find quite a few pieces.
The filling is rich and tasty as you would expect.

Beppino occelli burro butter

Spotted some swanky butter at M&S so decided to try it.
The Beppino occelli burro butter is made with Italian sweet skimmed cream only which is pressed in a wooden mould which gives the embossed cow.
However it was quite hot that day I bought it so the cow was partially gone!
I found the butter extremely fragrant on toast with an aromatic and strong butter taste without the saltiness.
Overall, I was really glad I tried it.

M&S Marks Spencer Slow Cooked Teriyaki Beef

I didn't know what to expect for the Teriyak beef but it looked good on the pictures.
You definitely got what you saw, the whole piece of beef was perfect for shredding just like duck hence it was good for bao fillings and how it was suggested.
The sauce that came with it was a bit too sweet for my liking so I used BBQ sauce instead which made it even better.

Vegan kitkat review

The vegan Kitkat was the second non regular kitkat to excite me just like the previous Ruby chocolate merely because the chocolate is different.
Matcha/Green Tea are too common these days that they didn't arouse my interest as much as these two did.
The vegan kitkat is made with couverture chocolate which means a higher percentage of cocoa butter which gives it a nice sheen, firmer snap and creamier taste which makes it ideal as a vegan kitkat because the creaminess makes up for the milk.
To be honest, if I ate this blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference but the only noticable taste difference was that it was sweeter than the regular one which is a shame because you can't appreciate that extra creaminess that makes it couverture.
I suppose you could think of it tasting like dark chocolate but there was too much sugar in it.
Eating it from the fridge made it slightly better as things taste less sweet when chilled or frozen hence the high sugar content in icecreams/desserts.
Rating: 3/5 (would have been 4/5 if the sweetness was reduced)

Morrisons Mint Ice Cream Cones

Raided the fridge and discovered a box of Morrisons Mint Ice Cream Cones.
The mint icecream was bland but the dark chocolate and cone was too sweet.
When you get to the middle there is chocolate sauce.
Overall too sweet.

M&S Marks and Spencers "the grill' candied bacon

I am so glad I got the Candied bacon with maple sugar rub from M&S!!
It was amazing, the maple isn't cloyingly sweet and the texture of the cured bacon was crispy.
Depends on how long you put it in the oven for affects the caramelization and crispiness.
I left it longer and the bacon was crisp with a chew so it was to my liking.
