Nestle Whip Delightful mint

I'm sure everyone has had a Nestle whip in their lifetime, me too but I didn't take pictures in those days.
Anyway, I got a box again which contains 3 inside because they were only 25p.
The dark chocolate is really good and so is the light whipped minty filling, however the filling can be a bit too sweet.
But all in all, the chocolate casing is chunky and thick especially the base which is almost 1cm!
Looking at them now, they look like coffee capsules.
Sadly, they are too sweet but the dark chocolate is really nice and for 25p, they are good for sharing.

Anyway, I am glad I got them at 25p as they were worth it for the photos as who knows if they were become less popular in the future.

After Eight Strawberry & Mint and Gin & Tonic

These were launched ages ago along with orange mint and gin tonic but I didn't try them back then.

Anyway finally tried them and loved them.

The pairing of strawberry and mint is odd but it worked.
When you open the box you get that lovely chocolate strawberry smell that you get from quality street strawberry creams.
The taste is similar to that with subtle mint flavours so sometimes its like eating a chocolate strawberry creme and sometimes like a regular aftereight.

I would give it 4/5 but the fondant was too sweet.

Also tried the gin and tonic which were mintier than the strawberry.

The dark chocolate was good and tasted better from the fridge as I followed the tip saying best served cold.

The fondant filling was mintier than the strawberry after eight but somehow lacked any taste of gin.

Overall nice but the fondant was too sweet.

M&S Italian pasta & spinach salad

This is the first pesto pasta that was to my liking and it was just a salad pasta from M&S.

To be honest, I have had pesto pasta so many times in Hong Kong but they tasted really weird and unpleasant but the M&S version was just perfect.

The cheesy kick and pesto were well balanced and the pine kernels were delicious.

Although it was a salad, the pasta tasted even better warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds which helped loosen the pasta.

M&S Plant Kitchen Battered Fishless goujons

M&S have launched more new products to their plant range including the no lamb kofta, bangers, no chicken wings and fishless goujons this summer.

I had doubts on trying the fishless goujons because it is similar to the no fishcake also made with rice protein and potato which wasn't that nice.

Shockingly, they were so delicious and oddly they had a fishy taste.

Definitely up my alley because I love things made with rice and potatoes.

The taste of this was so much nicer than the fishless cake and the batter coating gave it that chip shop feeling.

M&S Marks and Spencers Made without dairy soy greek style peach & passion fruit pot

At M&S, they do a series of dairy free Greek style pots, there is the plain, strawberry and peach & passionfruit.

So far I have only tried the strawberry and the plain so this time tried the peach and passionfruit.

It had a weird chalky texture which was consistent with the strawberry.

As for the taste it was quite tart because of the peach.
Overall not bad but I prefer the strawberry.
