M&S Marks Spencers Crispy battered chilli beef review

M&S have an impressive range when it comes to Chinese food but then everything is impressive!
This time I tried the Crispy battered chilli beef which was surprisingly good!
The strips of beef were indeed crispy after I heated them in a halogen oven and the sweet chilli sauce complemented it nicely.
It was a nice sweet sauce with a mild chilli kick hence it was really appetizing to go with rice or noodles.
The crispy beef is highly recommended as well as the Plant kitchen sweet and sour chicken and black bean chicken.

Sainsburys BBQ Beef instant noodles

My all time favourite Sainsburys branded instant noodles are the vegetable one which is vegan and delicious because they have a strong celery taste.

As the BBQ beef was vegan, I decided to give them a try.

The smell of the seasoning was not pleasant as it smelled like chemicals, as for the taste it was palatable but not as nice as the vegetable.

Sainsburys Moroccan houmous review

I love houmous so decided to try Sainsburys Moroccan houmous to compare it to Morrisons version.

To summarize it was just houmous with a cumin kick while the Morrison Moroccan has a sweet touch with apricots.

Mr Kiplings Bakewell slices review

Mr Kiplings slices are always good!
This time I got the Bakewell slices which is amazing with a cup of tea.
The almond flavours are intense and the slices are better than the tarts because there is less shortcrust pastry so it really depends on your preference.

Coop GRO Plant based eating Hoisin Du'k Wrap (duck)

I love hoisin flavours so I have been eyeing the Coop GRO Plant based eating Hoisin Du'k Wrap which is made of soya bites.
Finally tried it and I have to say the sauce and texture is spot on so this is my favourite plant hoisin duck wrap so far.
The second favourite is boots and then Marks and Spencers.
The COOP Gro hoisin du'k was good because the texture was like duck paired with tasty spinach leaves and cucumber while the sauce was balanced and not too strong on the anise.

Delphi Foods Black olive houmous review

It is always exciting when you find different flavours of houmous.
Black olive houmous is not often seen around which is why I got the Delphi Foods Black Olive houmous which is an independant brand retailing at 87p which is not expensive for 170g, vegan too.
The dips and houmous are a small range of what they do, according to their website they have salads and tapas as well.
Getting back to the houmous, I was expecting a little bit more in the sense of taste because it just tasted like a regular houmous but with a lilac colour.
I was hoping it to have a nutty or saltiness to it from the olives or even have finely chopped olives in it which I am sure they will fine tweak it later.
Anyway, I still recommend it.
