M&S Cheese scones are flawless, they taste great toasted bringing out the aromatic cheese flavours.
Overall delicious with some salted butter, marmite butter or even marmite.

The M&S Cheese sauce is ideally for pasta but I tried some with cheese scones and it was quite nice.
The sauce was cheesy and creamy.
I didn't cook this but someone used the Beef Bolognese sauce on macaroni cooked with carrots and celery.
Overall, the sauce was good and went well with th macaroni but the celery got in the way.
A while ago , M&S had all these different fresh sauces for pasta and cooking.
Ended up getting a few, this time it was the tomato chilli sauce which had a lovely fiery kick to it as well as tangy tomato.
Cooked the sauce with some aubergines and topped it on pasta.
I don't know why I got these chicken livers but I am so glad I got them because they were so damn good.
The label suggests season and stir fry which then jogged some memories of this Sichuan style chilli and chicken offal dish.
The best thing is that it was pure livers in this pack so I did just that, stir fried it with some red and green chilli and celery and the taste was amazing.
The dish ended up looking like Flipino dinguan which is pork in blood but the haemoglobin in this dish was simply delicious.
The trick is not too overcook the liver so that it is still soft and velvety.
I have never understood why bakery in the West and East are so different.
In terms of texture, Asian bread is too soft and I find them really difficult to swallow especially things like mantou.
I love pandan so tried the Oriental fortune mantou which was bland and tasteless.
The worst thing was the immense difficulty in swallowing it.
