[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Toffee Sundae

There are lots of sundaes at Marks and Spencers but so far I have only tried the chocolate and strawberry so this time I got the Marks and Spencers Toffee Sundae to complete the collection.
It was vanilla and toffee flavoured mousses with Caramel sauce decorated with whipped cream, sponge and butterscotch pieces.
The toffee and vanilla mousse was sweet and silky while the butterscotch pieces contrasted it nicely.
Overall another nice dessert at M&S.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Mushrooms with Tomato Ratatouille & Cheddar Cheese

A while ago I got these Marks and Spencers Mushrooms with Tomato Ratatouille & Cheddar Cheese which are large flat mushrooms filled with tomato, courgette and red pepper sauce and topped with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
They make a nice appetizer or side dish because the light medley of vegetables on the juicy mushrooms are appetizing.

[Review] Morrisons Raspberry Turnovers

Just tried the Morrisons raspberry turnover because I have not tried it before.
Overall it was quite sweet and the pastry was quite hard.
The raspberry seeds were slightly annoying.

[Review] Simon Howie Haggis and Vegetarian finds

I love Haggis so I used to have it at restaurants.
Anyway due to the current situation the supermarket and kitchen are now your best friends.
Haggis is a dish containing sheep's 'internal organs' (heart, liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally simmered in the animal's stomach.
Due to availability and convenience some are prepared in a casing rather than an actual stomach.
Most haggis are served with "neeps and tatties" (Scottish: swede, yellow turnip, boiled and mashed).
The Simon Howie Haggis was really good but just a tad salty so overall I recommend it.

Haggis from the restaurants I went:
Neeps and Tatties at The Canny Man:
Haggis Spaghetti at The Canny Man:

O'Kane peppercorn Chicken Kievs

A while ago I tried the garlic kievs from o'kane and I was not that impressed.
This time tried the peppercorn chicken kievs from O'kane and they were slightly better but there was not much peppercorn sauce filling.

Lyons cakes sponge puddings - golden syrup pudding review

Lyons cakes have these sponge puddings that come in three flavours: Cherry bakewell, Sticky Toffee and Golden Syrup.
After trying the Cherry Bakewell I was convinced to get the other two.
So now that I have tried the Sticky Toffee and Golden Syrup I can concluded that Cherry Bakewell and Golden Syrup are my favourites.
Sticky toffee is quite sweet and the dates makes the sponge a bit gritty hence the Golden Syrup pudding is nice and comforting with some plain custard or alcoholic cream.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Truffled Egg & Honey Roast Ham

I was captivated by the Marks and Spencers Truffled Egg & Honey Roast Ham sandwich because you get a poached egg with a slight runny yolk.
Personally I am not keen on truffle because if it is not executed well it tastes like petrol!
Anyway, the truffle didn't stop me so I ended up getting it.
As well as the poached egg, there is also truffled egg mayonnaise so you are eating quite a bit of egg there but the sandwich is nicely balanced with watercress and honey roast ham so I really recommend this sandwich.
