[Review] Freshly baked maltesers cookies at Morrisons

At Morrisons,  you will find all these confectionery cookies like twix, snickers and maltesers cookies.
The maltesers cookies were tempting so got them.
The cookies are soft baked so they are chewy with pieces of maltesers in it which makes them impressive because it wasn't pieces of crushed honeycomb.
As for the taste, it was quite impressive because of the maltesers and it had a strong malty taste yet at the same time I found it too sugary.
It tastes like if ovaltine powder was added due to that strong malt taste and the weird sugaryness which I believe comes from the ovaltine powder.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Sweet Potato Katsu Curry

The Plant Kitchen Range is at M&S is really impressive offering meals, pizzas, cooking ingredients to dessert.
This time I tried the Plant Kitchen Sweet Potato Katsu Curry which is another Japanese inspired plant based dish just like their Sticky Teriyaki tofu which was delicious.
The heating instructions were a little bit troublesome as you have to put the sweet potato in the oven or grill to get them crispy as they are covered in panko breadcrumbs.
The rice and curry can be put in the microwave.
As you can imagine, the sweet potato is just fluffy sweet potato in a crispy coating.
I was more interested in the Katsu curry which was why I bought it. The curry sauce was loaded with edamame beans and the Katsu curry tasted like the real deal with some sweetness and mild heat but sadly it was a bit too salty so I couldn't finish the curry sauce or more rice would have been good.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Balanced For You Chicken, King Prawn & Chorizo Paella

The Marks and Spencers Balanced For You series are prepared meals with balanced proteins as well as carbs so you are getting both.

This time I tried the Balanced For You Chicken, King Prawn & Chorizo Paella which is my favourite so far in the Marks and Spencers Balanced For You series because the rice was so tasty.
Basically, expect strong flavours in a lovely smoky rich sauce.
Depending on what paellas you have tried in the past some can be like risotto while some can be dry.
I definitely wouldn't mind getting this again as a carbs lover.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Firecracker Prawn Dragon Roll

I have always wanted to try the firecracker sauce but never got round to buy it so when I spotted Marks and Spencers Firecracker Prawn Dragon Roll I had to try it.
As well as the firecracker prawn roll, M&S also do firecracker sauce in the cook with section.
The firecracker rolls were surprisingly nice because they were nice and creamy with a chili kick.

[Review] Morrisons' VE Day Veterans Pie

Morrisons ‘Veterans Pie’ makes a comeback to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day
The ‘Veterans Pie’, created by ex-servicemen from a famous Armed Forces recipe, made its return to Morrisons stores across the country to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day (May 8th).

The campaign which was initially launched last year to celebrate Armed Forces Week, made a comeback, thanks to Morrisons’ ongoing support for the Armed Forces Community, and their customers were once again given the opportunity to eat like a soldier.

Each pie was sold for 75p to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, with £10,000 of the sales donated to Walking With The Wounded to support those who served.

I was glad I managed to get the Veterans Pie at Morrisons because it was really delicious and to be honest it tastes better than the other pies at Morrisons!
There is something special about the gravy and the same with all Morrisons pies, the crust is imprinted with VETERANS PIE and 75 YEARS which gives it that special touch!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds spaghetti bolognese

In general I have been really impressed with M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds range because it is low in sodium and the quality of the ingredients are really good so I did not hesitate to get the Taste Buds spaghetti bolognese.
The sauce was tasty just like Taste Buds Might pasta and the beef was the star of the show because it was pure beef without any chewy bits.
The sauce was how you would expect it to be, moreish and tangy.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds spaghetti & meatballs in tomato sauce

In general I have been really impressed with M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds range because it is low in sodium and the quality of the ingredients are really good so I did not hesitate to get the Taste Buds spaghetti & meatballs in tomato sauce.
The tomato sauce was punchy which kids would like and the meatballs were made with pure beef without any chewy bits.
