[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Marmite Butter

Earlier this year, Marks and Spencers and Marmite have got together and came up with two exclusive products which were the Marmite Butter and Marmite Cream Cheese.

A while ago I tried the Marmite Cream Cheese which I really liked.
The Marmite cream cheese spread was so bloody delicious even though it tastes nothing like Marmite.
The taste is difficult to explain but the texture was like velvety liver pate and I suppose it tasted like liver pate with a bitter beer twist.
I also thought it tasted like vegan cheese spread which makes sense because there is yeast in vegan cheese.

As I had run out of butter I got the Marmite Butter.
Marmite Butter
The appearance of it is brown and the texture was not as hard as the usual butter.
I buttered my brown bun and muffin with it and the taste was interesting as it was slightly salty and bitter just like beer with some creaminess.
Also tried the marmite butter on hot pitta bread which melted however the taste of the melted marmite butter wasn't as strong.
I would love to see greasy spoons serving breakfast with heavily buttered toasts using Marmite Butter!!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer 4 Soft Wholemeal Finger Rolls

Basically these are soft and pillowly wholemeal finger rolls by M&S.
They were nice and soft great with butter especially M&S Marmite butter launched earlier this year!

[Review] Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter

Earlier this year, Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter was seen at various supermarkets but I wasn't tempted as a marmite lover because I hate peanut butter.

Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter
The reason I hate peanut butter is because it is sweet which is weird for peanuts as they are naturally savoury hence when something is savoury and tastes sweet, I don't agree with it.
If I had to get it,  I would buy the smooth marmite peanut butter.

A few months later, I spotted Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter at the pound shop which is cheaper than the supermarkets because of the expiry date.

I didn't get it instantly but when I got home I changed my mind because as a foodie I should give everything a try so got it the next day.

As I had some muffins, I decided to try it on the muffins.
You can see how skeptical I was as I didn't spread much on it.
On the first bite, the marmite didn't really hit me and then suddenly it was really strong.
To be honest, this was the first time Peanut butter actually tasted delicious because it was salty minus the sweetness.
I'm so glad they came up with this Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter because I love it but preferably the smooth version because the crunchy peanuts can be annoying for me.
To summarize if you are savoury person I would definitely recommend this.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer Mini Bacon & Cheddar Muffins

While I was at the olives and dips section, I noticed these tiny muffins which were so adorable!
At a glance they looked like Chinese shao mai but they were cute mini muffins.
There was Cheese and Onion or Bacon & Cheddar.
It was hard deciding but ended up getting the Bacon and Cheddar.

These tiny little muffins are seriously too cute to eat and I ended up taking so many pictures.
The heating instructions are a bit confusing because it has cooking instructions but it also says do not reheat.

Although you are meant to put them in the oven, I microwaved them for 15 seconds which also worked.
Each muffin was soft and crumbly and the cheddar cheese made the muffins really cheesy and moreish that I finished the in one go.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Apricot Sponge Roll

The Marks and Spencers Apricot Sponge Roll and Chocolate Sponge rolls are classics.
I have been having them since I was a kid.
The apricot sponge roll is coated with sugar and filled with deliciously gooey apricot jam and buttercream.
Basically a nice sweet treat with a lovely cup of tea.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencer British Single Cream

A dash of cream is always good on any dessert so I got the Marks and Spencer British Single Cream which was versatile on everything from Apricot tarts, crumbles to sponge puddings.
The most impressive thing was that the cream lasted quite long in the fridge for at least 10 days.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers 12 Cheese & Onion Rolls

I love cheese and onion so got the Marks and Spencers 12 Cheese & Onion Rolls which are bite sized cheese and onion rolls in puff pastry with vintage reserve cheddar cheese & onion filling.
Each piece was moreish with a lovely satisfying filling, as well as cheese and onion, you could also taste some potato in it as well.
