Tai Bu Tei Yao Shan Noodle- Ginseng and Chinese Wolfberry Flavour
Again these thin noodles are by Uni-president, this time tried the Ginseng flavour which is quite strong however there is a sachet of sesame oil as well which I only recommend putting half the contents because it will overpower the taste of the soupbase.
Bought this huge instant noodle pack which is laksa flavoured, the noodles inside were different to the usual instant noodles, they were thicker and much rounder.
There were two sachets, one laksa paste and the other was coconut powder.
I did not add all the coconut powder to the soup base because I do not like coconut, but when I opened the Laksa paste it was really prawny and fishy which was really nice.
It takes a while to cook too!!
Overall I loved these noodles, but the soup was too spicy for me and there was slightly too much MSG.
This is a Taiwanese version of Pineapple Tart known as ( 鳳梨酥 funglayso).
The filling is fully enclosed within a rectangular tart. The taste is sweet, however, some bakers add or even substitute pineapple with winter melon to make the jam less tart.
The NineSuns version was rather sweet and the pastry was too buttery and I didnt like it!
Corn ain’t supposed to be this pretty. Corn doesn’t normally sparkle like jewels or reflect every color of the rainbow. But when it does, the world sits up and pays attention. Glass Gem corn lives up to its name with white, pink, blue, purple, green and gold kernels distributed randomly and beautifully across each cob. The magnificent maize is an other-worldly sight at first glance to the extent that Discover Magazine went so far as to inform readers that pictures of the corn had not been edited. Seeds Trust, a small, family-run American company, introduced the glittering corn to the world via Facebook last year, and it went viral earlier this month. Japanese comments are scattered throughout the comment history on the company’s Facebook page, and Japanese are well are of this decorative treat:
“I want some of that! Where can I get my hands on it?”
“I bow to the power of nature!”
“Looks like jellybeans. Is it sweet?”
“My kids would have no trouble eating veggies that look like this!”
It would almost feel like a sin to eat something so beautiful, but this corn is the real deal. Seeds are scarce, though, and it may take some time to cross the Pacific and show up at your local grocery store.

I loved this biscuit, it was filled with chewy black sugar.
However the biscuit was rather crumbly so it was hard to bite it in half and take a picture of the middle.
The biscuit was slightly oily though.
