Grilled Squid Flavour crisps by Lay’s China

These crisps have bigger than normal ridges.
I can’t quite taste the squid but I could taste cumin and sweetness.

Squid soaked in Chinese wine by Original Taste Workshop

I love snacks soaked in Chinese wine but the ones by Original Taste all have bones (i.e ducks tongue, pork knuckles and chicken feet).

I was glad there is now Squid to choose from because it was delicious, the wine has a really nice savory taste and the texture of the squid is really springy flavoured with the wine.
Next time I am going to put them on my instant noodles/cup noodles with the wine as well.

Tom Yum Crisp Original

Most of the elements in this was nice but because the Kaffir lime leaves were strong I did not like the overall taste, but inside there was dried shrimps, cashew nuts, kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce, lemon juice, onion, sugar, dried squid, red pepper.

The spicyness levels was light however I could not find the pieces of squid.

Plaza del Sol Morceaux de calmars dans leur encre

Shame I forgot to take a picture of the contents, but it was squid in ink sauce.
It was nice just pairing it with noodles or plain rice.

Taiwanese salted baby squids

Thought they were cute, so got them.
Luckily they were not spicy as stated on the packaging.
However they were extremely salty, so you need to soak/wash them before eating.

Plaza del Sol Calmar

Canned squid in ink sauce

This was nice topped on plain white rice or spaghetti.
The squid was actually soft and not chewy.
There is a fair amount of red oil on top, so pour that away before serving.
