M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen Edamame & Black Rice Salad

Ever since I spotted this, I have always wanted to try it because there are so many exciting things in this salad like black rice, edamame etc.
The salad was really tasty as it was Japanese inspired with edamame mixed with wakame seaweed, then you have this really moreish chili cashew nut dip which I thought was pumpkin because of the colour which also had fragrant soy sauce and carrots.
I was even surprised to discover prized aromatic dried porcini mushrooms in the ingredients as well mirin wine which explains why the flavours were so bold and delicious.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Quinoa edamame soybeans

The Marks and Spencers salad range is so exciting with lots of options to choose from.
This time I got the Quinoa edamame soybeans because it had a flavourful mix of black rice and with wakame seaweed paired with soy & ginger dressing for that Oriental touch.
Overall, I was pleased with the flavours and look forward to getting Mexican style rice next time.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Super Wholefood Salad with creamy lemon & mint dressing

Tried Marks and Spencers Super Wholefood Salad with creamy lemon & mint dressing which was basically a lot of proteins in this box and lots of beans.
I liked the edamame beans but I think you need an acquired taste for wholefood salads which contains lots of pulses.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers lighter Potato Salad

I love potatoes and carbs so tried M&S Marks and Spencers lighter Potato Salad which is basically potatoes in a yoghurt dressing.

If you are not on diet, I seriously prefer the creamy mayonnaise dressing or add some Smiths Bacon fries to make it better.

[Review] Morrisons Salad bar BBQ Jackfruit & Coleslaw

Finally tried jackfruit as a dish and not as a plain fruit.
Unripe jackfruit is a popular meat substitute in vegetarian dishes.
This was the bbq jackfruit from Morrison's but unfortunately I found the bbq sauce too sweet.
Other brands offer bbq jackfruit so will try them as well because I think it really depends on the bbq sauce.
Also tried the coleslaw from the Salad bar and didn't really like it as the sauce was too heavy.

[Review] Co-op Mixed Leaf Salad Bowl

Well, a salad is just salad but the Co-op Mixed Leaf Salad Bowl was good in the sense that it didn't have any dressings which made it pure healthy salad!
Inside the salad bowl was julienne peppers, cherry tomatoes, red onions and lettuce.

[Review] Morrisons Apple, Spinach & Wild Rice Spinach Salad in a citrus vinaigrette

I was quite looking forward to this Morrisons Apple, Spinach & Wild Rice Spinach Salad in a citrus vinaigrette because I love wild rice and spinach.
It also had pieces of apple and cranberries to give it a nice colour.
Unfortunately, I found the taste too acidic and minty.
I think the taste could have been improved with some strong cheese like blue cheese.

iVeggie Hydroponic baby leaves

A nice cup of baby leaves with dressing.

I got it because they were Hydroponic leaves meaning they were grown in water without soil.

In the cup were: Mizuna, rocket, oak leaf lettuce, red asian mustard and Chinese flat cabbage.

The leaves without the sauce has a strong mustard like taste but after adding some dressing it enhanced the salad more because it was slightly sweet.
