[Review] J. James & Family ham / chicken slices and unsmoked bacon review

Randomly got the J. James ham from the supermarket because it was cheap and it looks like you get a whole wad in the box.
The ham was ok, it wasn't particular memorable or delicious but later I found some chicken slices in the fridge by J.James as well.
Overall, it is good for value but not memorable in terms of taste.

Also tried the unsmoked bacon because they were only 89p at Sainsburys to match Aldi's price.
On their own, the bacon was really salty but it was fine in a bacon consomme.

Beehive shaved seasoned ham

Tried the Beehive shaved seasoned ham with basil, oregano and rosemary.

The ham was juicy, flavourful and tender without being too salty but the only weakness was that I could not taste any of the herbs.

I liked the easy peel portion control packs which allow one portion to be opened and consumed while the other pack can be put in the fridge.

Other options in the shaved meat range:
Honey Baked (100g and 175g), Champagne (100g & 175g), Chicken Breast (100g & 175g) and Milano Salami (90g).

Ham by Maling!

Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another product from China!
But it is produced in Czech.

Anyway, the ham was very mushy in texture, slightly sour.
There was lots of jelly surrounding the ham in the tin.
Curry, Kung Pao and Sichuan pork! Also pork knuckles!! The English on the picture does not make sense because the English on the website is wrong! www.maling.cz

Denmark's Tulip brand chopped ham

Not the ham I was expecting, it was just fatty luncheon meat.
I wish the supermarket would import more international stuff!
