[findus] Birdseye Crispy beef and onion & Ham and Mozzarella pancakes review

I was brought up with Findus Crispy Pancakes so I really like them.
Back in those days there were quite a few flavours like Chicken and Mushroom, Beef and Onions and I think there was curry chicken.
Findus no more because they are now sold under Birds Eye and the flavours are different.
The current flavours are cheese and ham, cheese and tomato.
Both contain Mozzarella which was why I didn't try them because I don't like stringy tasteless mozzerella.
As a fan of Findus crispy pancakes, I was so elated they now have my fave minced beef flavour so I got them for lunch.
Visually, they still look the same but there was quite a bit of oil in them when probably helps to make them crispy in the oven.
Taking a bite so many years later, the exterior part was still the same, crispy breadcrumbs on the outside with a soft middle and filling.
The beef and onion filling was quite different from the product picture because looked like curry sauce and the minced beef was more finely grounded than the picture.
Overall, even though the filling was different, I am glad they have the beef and onion.
Hopefully, they will do the chicken curry and chicken and mushroom.

I also ended up getting the birdseye crispy pancakes ham and mozzarella.
To be honest, the cheese and ham didn't taste bad but I hated the addition of mozzarella because its like having discarded chewing gum that's stuck to table mixed in with it.
Asians might like it though because their definition of cheese is stringy, tasteless and chewy.

[Review] Birds Eye Crispy Chicken

I love fried chicken and chicken nuggets so I was captivated by the Birds Eye crispy chicken.

It would seem a wise choice to get this over chicken nuggets because it is made with 100% chicken breast according to the box.

Inside the box, you get 2 crispy chickens as stated just like the picture.

After putting it in the oven, the end product was satisfactory and tasty but I found it a bit too crunchy as I left it in the oven for too long but the chicken inside was still moist and tender.

[Review] Birdseye 4 Shortcrust Chicken Pies

Birdseye Shortcrust Chicken Pies are a classic pie eaten by most people which you would find in most freezers.
The pastry is crisp and crumbly filled with chunks of chicken in delicious gravy with peas.
