Aldi Specially Selected Ultimate Gold Coin (£6.99, 470g)

Labelled as a rich chocolate ganache and biscuit base topped with sweet blonde mousse and oozy caramel encased in a smooth milk chocolate shell. All dusted with a gold finish to give that ‘gold coin’ effect.
I was expecting it to be bigger like the other supermarket that had it a few years ago but it quite rich so the size turned out ok.
It was like eating a twix with more gooey caramel ratio and chunky biscuit balls.
The only problem is that it was super difficult to get it out the plastic with all those wavy edges so I froze it and cut the plastic away which helped.
