I found them a bit bland, lacking salt but the beefy umami was there.

Aldi instant noodles bbq beef flavour
I was curious to see if they were a super noodle dupe but not quite.
I found them a bit bland, lacking salt but the beefy umami was there.

Heinz beanz limited edition pigs in blankets with Christmas Seasoning
These are quite nice because the beans are not as sweet as the original with a smoky taste.
The pigs in blanket gives it a nice festive vibe but like all canned stuff they lose that bouncy texture.

Ambrosia chocolate flavour custard pot and tin
I recently bought an Ambrosia chocolate custard pot to go with some crumble but when I got home I realized I had the tin version from a while back which I will need to review later.
I would imagine they would taste different but I tried the pot version first which was rich and creamy.
It was rather sweet and dark in colour.
Ingredients seem the same for the can and pot.
Ambrosia Light custard and 30% less sugar custard
Another tasty item from Ambrosia light series.
The custard is to my liking, not too sweet. Also similar is the 30% less sugar which is lush with sweet puddings.

Tesco finest black forest double cream with Luxardo kirsch cherry liqueur
The Tesco finest black forest double cream with Luxardo kirsch cherry liqueur is a must buy.
It was so delicious on its own and tastes like hotel chocolat black forest gateaux liqueur.
Creamy, thick and you can taste the chocolate and cherry with an alcoholic punch.
It also contains pieces of chocolate and cherries.
Definitely brings desserts to another level!!

Aldi Belmont fig rolls
The short crust was rather thick compared to the usual ones while it was very sweet overall.
Texture was very crumbly and hard because of the thick pastry and isn't as soft and chewy as the regular ones.

Waitrose Fresh Devonshire Custard (chilled)
The Waitrose Fresh Devonshire Custard (chilled) is another dreamy ready to eat custard.
Thick, creamy and moreish.
Waitrose new Black forest crumble and chilled custard
Who ever thought of this is a genius and it was executed well.
These days there are lots of black forests reinvented but some are just trivial by adding chocolate/cherry.
The black forest was quite different because they actually changed the crumble to a chocolate crumble with some chunky chocolate pieces.
The taste was good.
Tried it plain and it was how I expected it to be.
The best thing is that you get whole plump cherries that are still tart while the chocolate crumble is not too sweet.
I didn't heat the crumble to the point that the chocolate melted because I like the chocolate with a chew.
The crumble was not too sweet which lets you add custard to it.
Adding Waitrose custard took it to another level.
I plan to pair it with Tescos black forest thick cream but not got my hands on it yet.
Overall it was a really comforting dessert which is a winner for me more than a decadent rich indulgent dessert.

Fisherman Seaside Favourites brown shrimp
My English tummy satisfied with these delicious peeled brown shrimp on butter white bread with salt and pepper.
These shrimps are a menace when removing the fiddly shells which make these ready to eat ones a delight.
Saying that, they lack the fresh sea flavours which you can account for with salt and pepper.
Will try them on toast next and buy some potted shrimp for the next review.
