These are agar coated fruit shaped desserts filled with silky mung bean paste.
Visually very nice and colourful especially the mangosteen.They weren't bad, however I found them too sweet with a toilet type/incense/Indian Jasmine/Thai Jasmine aroma that is floral but in a nice way infused in the mung bean paste.
The texture of the agar jelly was like hard boiled egg white with a bit of resistance.
It was like eating a sweet hard boiled quail egg with the agar like the egg white and the starchy filling was similar to hard boiled yolk.
Overall ok but I don't have an Asian palette for sweet things.
