Heinz barbie cue mayo barbecue sauce review

Heinz barbie cue mayo barbecue sauce review.
Initially I was not keen on getting this because I thought it would be a blatant mix of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce which has molasses and spices which would taste weird.
Thankfully, it does not contain BBQ sauce but has beetroot for the colouring.
I found this sauce rather heavy and thick, it was a bit like salad cream in taste but without that sour tang to it.
The smokyness was strong and more successful than the Heinz bacon ketchup which lacked a smoky taste.
Overall, quite nice.

Rustlers Peri Peri chicken burger

As a Rustlers fan, I was excited about this new Peri Peri chicken burger but it was really baffling why they had to call it a chicken burger when you get two tenders.
I thought it was new but they actually do have a chicken tenders burger which was out a few years ago where you heat it in the paper box. (Sold at Tescos)
So this is exactly the same but in a plastic box and what is more intriguing is the NEW label is actually stuck on and not printed as part of the design.
Anyway, the taste did not disappoint, you get the usual Rustlers quality, ie soft fresh bun after it has been microwaved, likewise crispy if toasted etc.
The sauce was the star of the show, it was really sharp which was to my liking but the chilli was quite fiery but more like a chemical burn.
Overall nice but I really don't get why it is called chicken burger when they are clearly tenders.

Sainsburys taste the difference cherry bakewell inspired yoghurt

I was hesitant in getting this when first spotted because it didn't contain almond in the ingredients but after indolentarrogance correctly pointed out that some ingredients are listed as "flavourings" in general.
The texture of this yoghurt was really light like between a fool and an emulsified yoghurt.
As for the taste, it was quite sweet to start with heavy cherry notes like your usual cherry yoghurt with an almond aftertaste.
Overall quite nice but I prefer if it came in single pots because now I have another to finish when I can try/buy another dessert/yoghurt.
As well as cherry bakewell they had other flavours like banoffee and cookies and cream.

Swizzels Rainbow drops fruit flavour ice lollies from Iceland

I love anything rainbow so I didn't hesitate to get the Swizzels Rainbow drops fruit flavour ice lollies from Iceland.
Not only is it pretty but the flavours are nice with strawberry, orange, cherry and blueberry but the strange thing is there are five colours red, orange, yellow, green and blue which don't equate!
Anyway, the first bite is obviously all the flavours mixed together and it was lovely and not too sweet.
Overall, I really enjoyed these ice lollies.

Fantastic Mr Floss candy floss maker

Automated candyfloss making machines are not new.
The most basic ones were around decades ago cost a mere pound but these few years you can get candyfloss machines which spin out different designs like flowers by layering and shaping.
The FantasticMrFloss machine offers many choices for a fiver so choosing one with different colours and a design is a must so chose the flower bouquet!
The machine had a glitch so the final product looked a bit wonky so it must be fixed!
Although I fixed it a bit with my fingers before eating it.

St Ewes eggs

On my supermarket trips, I was drawn to St Ewes eggs because of the egg box and the design.
The super eggs were interesting but not quite sure how super they are but managed to try the rich yolk egg which indeed as a bright yolk colour and had a strong taste.

Breaded cod fishcakes by Amazonfresh

Who doesn't love fishcakes.
This time I tried Amazon which was different but probably made by Morrisons manufacturer judging by all those Morrisons products they stock.
It wasn't bad, I loved the fishy taste along with parsley.
I also smashed one with cheddar and put it in the microwave with a fried egg on top and it was so delicious.

Tilda tasty sides

Tilda were giving away free sides at Liverpool Street so I was given two packs to try.
There are four flavours: Mexican Faiita, Indian Black dhal, thai green curry and Chinese black bean.
I got to try the Mexican Faijita and the Chinese black bean.

I tried the Chinese black bean which was seriously good if not better than the takeaway because it was different in a way.
The water chestnuts had this delicious sweet crunch which works here but not in authentic Chinese dishes.
It was a bit too spicy for my palatte because it was the cajun type of spice but it was so tasty which you can think of it like black bean chilli con carne.
Fermented black beans is an ingredient for stir fries so its very different to the black beans which are not fermented but overall it does taste of fermented black beans for that Chinese kick.
This side also reminded me of Brazilian feijoda and Jamaican rice and peas when eaten with rice.
Overall delicious.

The Mexican fajita basically tasted like a vegetarian chilli con carne with sweetcorn
