Moringa Seeds 辣木子

I got this Moringa seed from my colleague and he made me really curious to try it because he said it tastes different to everyone.
Apparently it reflects the condition of your body accordingly to the taste you get.

For me, I got an extremely bitter taste followed by sweetness.
The effects did not end there, the water tasted really sweet which was scarily weird.
This phenomenon lasted about 10 minutes.

Moringa seeds are said to have a powerful cleansing effect on the body.

Giant Custard cream and bourbon biscuit from TESCO

I am not a fan of custard creams or bourbon biscuits but I like the giant version because they are just fun and visually stunning.

You won’t find them in the biscuit section because they are located in the freshly baked section as they make them everyday.

Caxton pink n whites marshmallow wafers

Pink n whites are sugar coated pink and white marshmallows sandwiched between two crispy wafers.

Almost every kid in the UK has eaten them before.
I love them because they are not as sweet as they look with delicious chewy marshmallow in the middle.

Hong Kong vs UK supermarket Self-Checkout

I love the supermarket but not the queues and now they have self-Checkout counters which is really good because you can do it yourself.
I have tried the self-check counter in UK and HK.

The HK self-checkout is simple and almost idiot proof but it allows people to steal if they really wanted to by accidentally not scanning an item, whereas in UK, your shopping is weighed before scanning so that the scanned weight should match the weight before.

In terms of payment, UK is better because you can pay by card, cash, coupons and even scan offers/discounts whereas Hong Kong only allows credit card and octopus.

++++++++++++++++++++++++
Idiot proof Hong Kong Self-checkout counter:

Before you start, make sure your octopus has enough credit or pay by credit card which I haven’t tried yet.
I am not sure if there is an English interface but I couldn’t find it but basically you touch the screen to activate it.

Press start

Scan your item

Once all items have been scanned press the ENTER button
Choose form of payment

I chose the octopus, so you basically tap the octopus and the receipt will be printed out you are ready to go with your goods..

UK Self-checkout counter:

Accepts card, cash and coupons!!

Khatta Meetha by Haldiram’s

I love Bombay mixes so my colleague got me this from India.

It is a sweet and sour mix hence the name Khatta Meetha and it contains rice flakes, chick peas, peanuts, sago, red lentils.

The curry flavour is there without being too spicy with a delicious sweet and sour taste just like Chinese sweet and sour and the mix is extremely light and not oily compared to other brands.
It comes in a good packaging that is well labelled with nutrition values and ingredients.
