M&S Marks and Spencers Made without wheat Gluten Free All Butter scones

As a curious free foodie, I try gluten free things as well to see how they fare in taste and texture.

Most Gluten free things I have tried turned out to have a firmer texture just like the scones here.

These are all-butter, gluten-free scones made with orange-soaked sultanas for a citrusy flavour which I found rather sweet compared to the regular ones and they appear to be rather brown too.

M&S Toffee & Honeycomb Traybake review (Marks Spencers)

Having a sweet tooth, I decided to try the toffee traybake which is a Smooth toffee mousse and toffee sauce on a Bourbon biscuit base finished with dark chocolate and Dulche du Leche toffee sauce drizzles and crunchy chocolate coated honeycomb.

Overall, I liked the toffee mousse and toffee sauce but was not fond of the bourbon biscuit base because of the contrast in texture.

Sainsburys Tenderstem broccoli & Asparagus with kale, peas & minted butter review

Got these a while ago because it seemed like a good deal with everything in the pot such as aspargus and kale.

Some of the veggies were a bit woody but overall, it was ok.

Coop Slow cooked lamb shoulder with mint gravy review

Tried the Coop Slow cooked lamb shoulder with mint gravy a while ago which made a nice dinner.

It cooked nicely and the lamb was tender and delicious in the gravy but the mint was not strong enough.

Coop Irresistible Apple pie

I didn't really have any expectations for this apple pie as it is from Coop.

Surprisingly it was a delicious apple pie but the pastry was a bit under cooked in the middle to the extent you could smear it with a knife.

Other than that, after taking a slice, the rest can be fixed in the oven.

Lidl Italian range

I'm impressed, better than the crap in hk. I don't really shop at lidl but they give you more choices per product eg gnocchi an/tortellonin and they even have ndjuda pizza which is only offered at restaurants in hk. Price wise, most items are under 3 quid. Basically hk restaurant chefs have to get inspired by other countries to serve it on the menu but then not that it would be popular with the Chinese palette. Interestingly chains like MS and Tesco can't compete with their range.

M&S Marks and Spencers Count on Us chicken tikka and rice

Tried the Count on Us chicken tikka and rice and I felt everything was the same in terms of taste but you get less rice which is a reduction in calories.
