itsu noodle soup- gyozas and greens

Convenient gyoza noodles but the noodles were too soft before the water was added.
Overall not bad.

ASDA Pistachio Croissants

Finally got my hands on these croissants and it was the last bag left at 9:50am in the morning which I consider too early in the day.
There are lots of lovely bakeries doing nice ones but I felt I had to try the ASDA version since this is the only supermarket pistachio croissant.
You would expect M&S or Waitrose to have them but they don't however Sainsburys do pistachio batons.
I bet they are all over supermarkets in Europe.
Visually, both croissants were puffed up beautifully garnished with pistachio nuts.
I can confirmed they were well filled as I devoured them both.
Overall very pleasing as it was not too sweet and it was a good quality pistachio creme because the gooey consistency is just like nutella and you get that dryness in your mouth like peanut butter.
The croissant itself was light, airy, pillowly and crispy on the outside while the butter isn't overwhelming that you can eat two in one go.
Definitely a bargain for two quid.

Thai fruit shaped desserts called Luk Chup by House of Kanom

These are agar coated fruit shaped desserts filled with silky mung bean paste.

Visually very nice and colourful especially the mangosteen.
They weren't bad, however I found them too sweet with a toilet type/incense/Indian Jasmine/Thai Jasmine aroma that is floral but in a nice way infused in the mung bean paste.
The texture of the agar jelly was like hard boiled egg white with a bit of resistance.
It was like eating a sweet hard boiled quail egg with the agar like the egg white and the starchy filling was similar to hard boiled yolk.
Overall ok but I don't have an Asian palette for sweet things.

Liquid IV available in strawberry or passionfruit

Reminded me of those hydration drinks like pocari sweat and diorite the stuff you drink when you are sick.

Aldi Hoops dupes reviewed

Visually they look and taste 90% like Hula Hoops but the texture is slightly different.
I found them crispier with a light wheaty/grainy texture. Some hoops had bubbles which you don't find in Hula Hoops. [pic 8]
In terms of taste, the flavours seem stronger than Hula Hoops for both flavours but interestingly the potato taste isn't as strong as Hula Hoops.
Overall, glad I got them and would definitely recommend.

Adez soy drink with rice

Only tried it because it was 50p for a huge 800ml bottle.
I didn't have any expectations because soy has a weird taste but it turned out quite pleasant as it is made with rice and the soy taste isn't that strong.
It was surprisingly thick and creamy.
I should imagine the others would be nice in the range like the oat milk and ultimate blend.

7the sense desserts

On my recent trip to Farmfoods, I spotted these pots which looked like pet food but they turn out to be desserts at two for a pound.
Intrigued by the design, I got some to try.
There was caramel or chocolate hazelnut to choose from with crispy balls on top inside the lid and a spoon included.
Interestingly, the label says no preservatives hence they can be stored at room temperature.
For both flavours, they were way too sweet even though it was really decadent and indulgent.
I felt that these desserts are better off as sweet dessert dips because they taste so good when you dip strawberries and biscuits in them.
