VFC Vegan Fried Popcorn Chick*n taste test at the Kings Cross Popup

I love trying vegan food so this time I got to try Vegan Fried Popcorn Chick*n by VFC food because they had a popup at Kings Cross.

The texture was really impressive because it was soft with a great meaty texture without being too dry.

Adding sauces to it made it taste even better even though they were already tasty on their own.

I liked the coating which was coarse with cornflakes which gives it that extra crunch to contrast the the vegan chicken.

So in comparison with other vegan chicken products I have tried, I would say it is close to the Vegan fillet at UK KFC except with a different coating.

Both are Southern style but VFC is crunchier.

M&S Chunky Chicken Mushroom & Rice Soup

I have tried most of the soups at Marks and Spencers and now the Chunky Chicken Mushroom & Rice Soup is my favourite!

There is so much chunky mushrooms in the soup and overall it is very flavourful because of the herbs.

The rice gives it that filling and comforting factor.

Sainsburys mint sauce

I didn't buy the Sainsburys mint sauce but tried it because this cafe had it.

Overall it was the best mint sauce I have had because it had a really nice twang to it so I shall be purchasing it soon.

Hopefully it shall taste the same, if not, it means the contents were probably a different brand put inside a Sainsburys jar.

MOTH Old fashioned

For those who are familiar with MOTH DRINKS, it is a pricey brand of cocktails.

I got my hands on the MOTH OLD FASHIONED which is Rich, romantic, aromatic. 

Serve it over ice and drink.

As I am not an expert on alchohol, I would describe it as strong and punchy.

Shaken Udder Strawberries & Cream clotted cream milkshake and chocolush

I have always wanted to try the Shaken Udder milkshake range because they look indulgent.

The Strawberries & Cream clotted cream milkshake was on offer so I tried it.

The idea was nice but the sweetness overpowered the strawberries so it was a little disappointing but I liked the thickness of the milkshake.

To be fair, I think I would have liked it if I tried a different flavour such as vanilla or salted caramel.

Unfortunately, I tried the chocolush which was also the same story!

It was too sweet.

Magija Quark Bar with dark Chocolate

I am glad I gave the quark bar a second chance.
The Magija version was so nice compared to the inedible lidl version.
It was velvety yet melts in your mouth with a chocolate yoghurt taste.
Overall rich but the yoghurty style quark balances it nicely.

Taste Inc 100% Chargrilled chicken fillet original

It was the first time purchasing these ready to eat chicken fillets so I was not sure what to expect.

I was surprised you get what you paid for.
Inside, you get real fillets inside ie the bit inner fillet under the chicken breast.
Overall, I really liked it because I love the inner fillet and boy you can really taste the chargrilled taste.
