Fermented Polish pickle juices

Just like Turkey, I was surprised to discover that Poland has pickle juice and fermented vegetable drinks.

I got various brands to try.

biofood fermented broccoli juice, bio naturo organic pickled cucumber juice and biofood cabbage juice.

The biofood brand design was terrible and the cap could not be opened so I had to use a screwdriver to pry it open.

The Broccoli juice was tasty as expected, salty and punchy, it is hard to describe the taste but you can taste the salty broccoli as well as the garlic.

The pickled cucumber juice was how I expected it to taste as in the brine in the pickled cucumber jar.

But at that price I felt it was expensive if it just tastes like the pickle juice from a pickle jar.

Last but not least the cabbage juice was the strongest in taste, very acidic!

Also tried the red cabbage fermented juice which was just as good and it is interesting that these drinks really do sell.

Overall, I am glad I tried and hope to find other interesting drinks in the range to try.

M&S King Prawn bucatini

I love bucatini which is a type of pasta with a hole in a middle where you can think of it like a long strand of macaroni.

Unfortunately this was a big disappointment as I have been wanting to try this for some time.

It wasn't the pasta that fail but the flavour, the taste of oregano was all over it but I guess I should have check the ingredients before buying.

The amount of prawns given were generous though.

ASDA Sage & Onion Wraps

I love sage and onions but these wraps were tasteless and did not deliver any sage and onion.
The aroma was there was on the light side.

KGN London Pistachio falooda

Finally a falooda drink to my liking.
Decadent creamy strong pistachio drink without the stinky rose syrup.
The sweetness was sweet but not cloyingly sweet as other brands.
I love the way the pistachio is so strong because you can dilute the sweetness with milk.

According to the KGN website, they also do an Almond Falooda which seems nice.

As well as these nutty flavours, I spotted a chocolate falooda at ASDA by a different brand.

M&S Unicorn steamed buns

Lots of crunch from the water chestnuts but on the sweet side.
Why do people even like these sweet savoury buns.

M&S Pumpkin Bao Buns

I am not really a person for Katsu because it is sweet but I got these Pumpkin bao buns for the fun factor as they looked quite cute.
Apart from being instaworthy, they were too sweet for my liking.

Delicious ready to eat Paella but on the sweet side.
