innocent bolt from the blue juice drink

innocent bolt from the blue labelled as a blend of fruit juices, coconut water & spirulina extract + added vitamins.
I have always wanted to try this blue drink which is a blue colour from spirulina but I have been put off by the taste because spirulina tastes weird.
Overall, it was not too bad as the spirulina was not too prominent but it was quite syrupy with an apple concentrate aftertaste.

Noshy Edible roses

These are not Roses but edible truffles coated in rose petals by Noshy that you can eat.
Also available in savoury flavours like pizza and no chicken satay!!

Finally tried one and it was not as nasty as I'd imagined because I hate rose anything.
Thankfully the petals were crisp and dry like dehydrated veg with no rose aroma or taste.
The filling inside was blueberry like those fruit paste bars.
No refrigeration needed.

Lidl For You Heart-Shaped Blueberry Mochis £ 3.99

Again this is a one off I bought because they were heart shaped mochis and they are pricier than their regular ones which cost £2.99 for six.
Anyway, I actually liked them more than the authentic ones because it was vanilla ice cream in the middle and not blueberry. I was some artificial blueberry taste in the mochi but luckily you could not taste any.
Although they are a little bit too sweet, I still liked them.

Lidl For you Cream & Cherry Choux £ 3.49

I love cherry anything so when I spotted this, I had to get it.
Coming from Lidl, £3.49 for four was a bit pricey but then it's just a one off as no other supermarket is offering this.
The cream was synthetic and sweetened while the cherry filling made up for it. It wasn't like a quality cherry filling but at least it wasn't cherry puree. The choux was a bit dry though.

Ballycastle Red Velvet Cupcake

I love Baileys, so the Ballycastle Red Velvet Cupcake was similar and tasted really nice.
The Red Velvet cupcake was really decadent with hint of chocolate.
Adding it to desserts took them to another level like tiramisu and ice cream.

M&S Hot Cross Bun BLT

Savoury hot cross buns have been around for years like cheese and chilli, tomato and cheese etc and recently the Marmite hot cross bun.
However, the hot cross bun BLT is probably the first in the grab and go section at M&S Food.
Filling a savoury hot cross bun with a savoury filling is obviously a no brainer and obviously cannot go wrong.
So think of it as a bun with a hot cross bun texture and a cross on top.
To summarize, the Hot Cross bun BLT was really tasty and satisfying because of the sun dried tomatoes which have a good umami kick to it along with the smoky bacon, mayo and lettuce.

Bakewell Tart chocolate pizza by The Gourmet chocolate pizza co

I have always been a fan of The Gourmet chocolate pizza co after seeing their booth last year showcasing cute mini chocolate pizzas.
Bakewell Tart is a British favourite and mine too as I love cherry bakewell anything.
Definitely fit for the King's Coronation in May with the blue sleeve and Union Jack bunting.
I am so glad it was a seven inch size chocolate because it was that good!
The taste that you got was Cherry bakewell so I am sold, not only the taste you have this lingering moreish aftertaste as well like Mr Kiplings.
As well as the flavour being spot on, their chocolate was dreamy so you can imagine a silky Galaxy infused Cherry bakewell and then you get slivers of crisp flaked almonds and dried cherries which take you to Cherry bakewell chocolate heaven.
I am so glad they nailed it because there have been many Cherry Bakewell inspired failures that didn't hit the spot.
Visually, I felt that it would be good if there was less white chocolate curls so that you can see the almond flakes to give it more of that bakewell tart appearance.
