Batchelors Limited Edition Pigs in Blankets

It's Christmas soon and everything is pigs in blankets.

Obviously with pigs and blankets it would be sausages and bacon.
Batchelors already have bacon noodles so I would expect the pigs in blankets to taste similar or have something added.
The limited edition noodles definitely did have a strong smokey bacon smell and a corresponding taste.
On top on that, you can taste some thyme but luckily it was not too strong.
There was supposed to be some dried pieces of sweetcorn and mushroom, but I couldn't find any.
Overall, I am biased, so I liked it and if you like the bacon noodles by Batchelors, then you are going to like this.

M&S Lava Hot dog rolls

These lava hot dog rolls were launched for Halloween.
Visually red because they are made with tomato puree and smoked paprika.
Overall, they were tasty but I found the texture a bit too dry like Asian breads even though it was really soft.

Le Rustique Camembert review

I love cheese and this Camembert literally hits the spot with its strong aroma and creamy taste.
It was so good in a sausage bap.

M&S Turkey & ham hock toastie on sourdough bread

I absolutely love this new Turkey & ham hock toastie.
The ham hock totally stole the show that I wish they would just do a plain ham hock and mustard toastie.
But anyhow, I would happily eat this again because it really gives you the Christmas vibes with the delicious melted cheese, turkey and stuffing.

M&S Sage and Onion Baps

I am so glad to see these new sage and onion baps and bought them immediately because the Sage & Onion Loaf by Jacksons of Yorkshire was amazing but discontinued.
I made a chipolata bap with Camembert and cherry chutney which tasted so good and it doesn't just stop there as you can fill it with turkey and cranberry sauce.

M&S Christmas Tree Yumnut and Panettonut reviewed - Christmas Sweet Treats 3 pack

M&S are really revving it this year with sweets, first it was the Christmas Tree yumnut and then there is the Panettonut.
The best thing is that you can try them both with the Christmas Sweet Treats pack for 5.25.

M&S have been really successful with yumnuts that they keep rolling out new yumnuts every now and then.
For Christmas this year, they have come out with a Christmas Tree shaped yumnut which is more festive than the Santa's belt.
The yumnut is also filled with delicious strawberry jam however I felt that the yumnut was too sugary for my liking.

Although I am not a fan of panettone, I was really keen to try the M&S panettonut which is a panettone and doughnut hybrid.
I am not sure if I got a bad one of the batch but the doughnut was dry and didn't feel soft.
The only thing that was heavenly was the dreamy vanilla custard and the mixed orange zest.
The panettone style doughnut felt stale in the sense that when you poked it there was resistance and not giving in.
Anyway, I think I should give this another go and update this.

Ambrosia Traditional rice pudding and sultanas with nutmeg flavouring

I actually bought this a while ago but didn't try until now because of the new Ambrosia sticky toffee rice pudding which I bought recently and tried first.
The only proper rice pudding I have ever had was from school and the supermarket ones.
I was quite impressed with the Ambrosia Traditional rice pudding because the nutmeg flavouring was quite nice.
Despite the texture being thinner than other rice puddings, I still enjoyed it.
The sultanas were soft and sweet because they have been canned for God knows how long.
