Haiyu original stone baked biscuit 海玉石頭餅

I was given these biscuits which are called stone biscuits in Chinese, it turns out they are baked in between small polished pebbles.
First they are laid on some pebbles and then pebbles are put on top to cover them which gives it those patterns.
The biscuits I got had uniform patterns as they are mass manufactured and not made with natrual stones.
As for the taste, they just tasted like salted crackers so I would rather called them stone baked crackers and not biscuits.
Overall, they were ok but I wouldn't specifically go out to buy them again.

Jason's sourdough no 14 olive & basil

To be honest, I have not heard of Jason's sourdough until it was available at the supermarket.
The only time I have it is at the restaurants or cafes.
I was drawn to this pretty green marbled bread at Tescos which turned out to be Jason's sourdough no 14 olive & basil.
It had nice green swirl patterns as well as being tasty with bits of olives and basil in it.
The sourdough was soft and pillowly with a chew.
Tasting it on its own you could tastes olives but not so much of the basil.
Pairing it with olive pate and liquid dill was really good.

Sainsbury's apple & blackcurrant tart - taste the difference autumn edition

Again, probably the same manufacturer as I have seen this huge Danish crown/tart at Tesco and M&S.
At Sainsburys, the danish tart is filled with apple and blackberries and the Tesco version was toffee apple.
Overall, it was quite nice and there are a good deal of apple slices and whole blackberries.
The blackberries were quite tart, so were the apples which goes well with sweetened custard.

Wilkin & Sons Tiptree onion relish

Tiptree is a well known brand in the UK, as well as jams they make great relishes.
Their onion relish is really punchy and goes really well with cheese.

Sainsbury's Rough oatcakes

Oatcakes are similar to crackers/biscuits but are made with oatmeal which nakes them a healthy snack.
As well as being healthy, they also taste good in my opinion.
I tried oatcakes on their own and they were really tasty as you can really taste the oats.
They go well well with cheese which makes them versatile.
Oatcakes come in various thicknesses, the one I got from Sainsbury's were thin which were to my liking as it makes them light to eat.
I paired the oatcakes with some creamy cheese and the taste was amazing.

Sainsbury's chocolate & cherry melt in the middle puddings

Chocolate and cherry can never go wrong and in the form of a pudding was fabulous!
The cherry sauce inside was beautifully tangy complimented by that rich chocolately sponge.
The only problem was the sponge itself was somehow too soft or the base was too thin that when you microwave it the sauce bursts out.
It makes me wonder why it is called melt in the middle when clearly the filling is a sauce which is already in liquid form anyway.
Apart from that, I totally recommend this!

Minor figures oat matcha latte

How could I not try an oat based matcha latte when I spotted the Minor figures oat matcha latte.
I was impressed by the flow of nitrogen that was released the moment that it is opened which create a silky microfoam on top like beer.
The matcha was smooth and earthy and pleasant to drink.
It was not sweetened hence right up my alley.

If you open the can, you will find a widget at the bottom of the can which activates the nitrogen when you open it.
