Overall, I felt that they were nothing like fairy cakes but taste like a non oily Madeleines.

Tesco Ms Molly's Fairy Cakes
I am glad I got to try these at a friends place because I would definitely not buy these because they look like long life cakes.
Herdez taco kit
Herdez, a popular Mexico salsa brand debuts in the London.
A few weeks ago they were dishing out free tacos at Southbank but sadly I didn't make it.
On my recent shopping trip to TESCO, I spotted their salsas and taco kits so without hesitation I got the TACO KIT which has everything from the SALSA, seasoning to wraps.
I ending up getting two TACO KITS so I could try both salsas and different seasonings.
There are three kits:
Barbacoa (smoky chipotle, black pepper and allspice)
Mexican City (Bold cumin, garlic and cayenne pepper)
Yucatan (zingy citrus, garlic & coriander)
I got the Barbacoa and Yucatan as Cayenne pepper can be a bit spicy.
So in the two kits, I got to try the Salsa Verde and Salsa Casera as well as the Yucatan and Barbacoa seasonings.
Adding chicken and onion filling to the wraps were tasty, however I felt that the tacos should be labelled soft shell tacos as they are very different to the crisp tacos made of corn.
The salsa sauces were impressive, both tasted extremely natrual like they were freshly made without any artificial flavours.
I liked the way, they were not salty so it does not add anymore saltiness to the tacos when you have already used the seasoning.
Salsa Casera had a decent amount of chunky chopped tomatoes and onions.
Although I liked the Salsa Casera, the Verde turned out to be the star because of the tomatillos which are so moreish and refreshing.
The only complaint is that the consistency of the sauces are watery that you pour too much by accident because of the wide bottle neck.
The sauces might be better off in a jar.
Overall, I love the salsa and they are great in Mexing up any dish!
Herdez at Tesco:
The newest POT NOODLE Lost the Pot epic noodles
Two years later after POT NOODLES launched these potless packet noodles, here comes the EPIC new flavours in Chip shop curry, smokin' BBQ and champion chicken.
As soon as they were out, I got them from ASDA but managed to leave my shopping on the train along with my skirts so I ended up buying them again.
Let's hope whoever picked my noodles and new skirts enjoyed the noodles because they are that good.
In general, I like these noodles because they are wide noodles and you will find them nice and springy if you don't over cooked them.
It was really hard choosing which flavour to start with so I tried the Chip shop curry first because you don't often find this flavour in noodles.
The chip shop curry turned out really tasty because unlike other curry noodle flavours out there, it did not contain anise or cardamon so it had a really comforting curry flavour without being too strong.
Next was the Smokin' BBQ, another winner for me because the flavour was meaty and smokey without being sweet.
I liked the way the paprika flavour was not abused and the parsley which gave the noodles some freshness and gritty mouthful.
Then there was Champion chicken was I was expecting to be my ultimate favourite and it did not disappoint.
The flavour was so good in the sense you have that comforting chicken as well as vegetables like celery which give it that all around perfect chicken flavour and then you have the herbs to give it that freshness.
More about Lost the Pot Noodles:
So if you didn't know, POT NOODLES are a famous and popular brand of noodles in a plastic pot!
In 2020, POT NOODLES decided to do a potless version in a packet called Lost the pot!
So some of you might be thinking have they lost the plot????
Anyway, there were three flavours, sweet chilli, curry and roast chicken.
Although you can't really compare these to the pot version, the roast chicken was really good comparably to other packet noodles.
A year later, they launched these low salt editions: cheese & tomato and vegetable flavour.
The vegetable flavour was actually really tasty because the flavour was like broccoli cuppa soup.

Tesco Ms Molly's Digestive biscuits
The Tesco Ms Molly's Digestive biscuits were surprisingly addictive.
I liked them because the sweetness was just right and strangely moreish!

Chada pandan buns from Thailand
As a pandan lover I couldn't leave empty handed when the pandan cookies were not in stock so the shop showed me these pandan buns which I decided to try.
They come in a box 8 in individual bags but I decided to just buy one to try.
To be honest, they were seriously delicious buns.
There was generous silky pandan filling that literally melts in your mouth.
The bun is the usual Asian bun, soft and sticky.

Tesco buffalo chicken & blue cheese sandwich.
I love buffalo chickens as well as blue cheese sauce so this sandwich was a match made in heaven.
Interestingly, it was tasty and the blue cheese was very prominent, however it lacked the taste that you get from the punchy buffalo sauce.
Tesco finest epoisses cheese
I love cheese so I got the tesco finest epoisses cheese because it visually looks like brie and camembert.
However, it is much stronger and pungent but I loved it.
The taste was much creamier and bolder with a sharp spicy afternote.
