Rude Health coconut date & nut bar

I can't remember where I got this from but I am not really a fan of sugary dates and coconut.
Anyway, ate this one morning as a quick snack and it was much better than anticipated.
The sweetness was just right as well as the coconut which was not too over powering.

oppo brothers ice cream

oppo brothers ice cream is a relatively newish brand of ice cream, I found out about them because they were doing a giveaway on instagram as well as their website which gave people the chance of winning the £1,000 every week to do good for themselves or others.
Just for fun, I submitted a proposal to help the food businesses by blogging about them.
It just so happens that they were giving away ice cream at Eccleston Yards so I finally got to try them.
The flavours I tried that day were double salted caramel, cookie caramel and cookies and cream.
All of them were really nice and the main thing was that they were not too sweet on the palate.

Coop Bakery Milk chocolate ball doughnuts

I love doughnuts so when I spotted the chocolate ball doughnuts by coop I was really keen to try them because it was a chocolate based doughnut.
There were not many good reviews on them so far so I didn't have any expectations and according to the staff they were previously frozen which explains the dryness.
The store I bought it from was a busy one so the doughnuts seemed better because of the fast turnover rate that they sell so I chose a pack which was nice and soft.
The chocolate doughnut was not as bad as I anticipated but the chocolate filling didn't really match the doughnut itself as it was too sweet.
Perhaps cherry jam would have been nicer and the doughnuts are best eaten within the first day of purchase as they seriously taste dry and lifeless the next day even after reheating in the microwave for a few seconds.

Tesco Finest hazelnut praline cookies

After having some really nice cookies from other supermarkets, I decided to try Tesco as they had a limited edition hazelnut praline cookies as well as a Salted caramel pecan one.
Unfortunately I was really disappointed as the texture was not quite right.
It was a bit embarassing as it was like half English and American in the sense that it was crunchy, hard and soft so I felt that it might have been left out for too long and dehydrated.
In terms of taste, it was too sweet that you couldn't really taste the chocolate or hazelnuts.

Morrisons Strawberry & cream lattice pack

Great to see another sweet treat from Morrisons, this time it is the strawberry & cream lattice pack for Wimbledon season.

Wonderful brownies from Chummys Bakery

Chummys Bakery are specialists in sweet treats like brownies, cookies, blondies, Rocky roads, and cupcakes which are popular by postal order.
I was kindly sent a box of six assorted brownies by post which came in beautiful Eco-Friendly box padded with organic shredded paper which kept the brownies secure.
The brownies were wrapped in greaseproof paper which keeps them fresh during delivery and tied with a neat string bow.
When I opened the box, I could smell a promising chocolate aroma.
You will find a mini leafet with nutritional values, brownie selection and instructions on how to heat them up.
If you can't finish them all, they can be frozen as well.
I got an assortment of: Triple chocolate, salted caramel, biscoff, chocolate orange, oreo and nutella.
They are all decadent in different ways and warmed up beautifully in the microwave for 15 seconds where they go gooey and warm. Best with ice cream or some whipped cream.
My favourites had to be the salted caramel and nutella while my friends loved biscoff and oreo so there is something for everyone.

Fox's Party Rings Choc minis

I was really excited when these new chocolate party rings by Fox's came out at Tescos so I had to try them.
They are selling like hot cakes at Tesco because there were only two bags left when I got there.
Basically they have a chocolate biscuit base and chocolate sugar topping.
Not bad but these are definitely memorable and different colour wise but not quite party ring style without the coloured icing.
After googling this, I discovered they are not quite new as these were out in 2012 according to TalkingRetail.
