Who doesn't this crispy and chewy bar.

These days you can get so many variations and new flavours coming out like salted caramel, white chocolate etc.

Cadbury Wispa

Cadbury Wispa has been around for ages and you just got to love those fine bubbles inside which gives it this delicious taste as well as mouthfeel.

Morrisons Cheese scones

I've been to Morrisons a lot but strangely I have never noticed the cheese scones.

The shape and colour if quite different to other brands.

I didn't find it cheesy even though you can really smell the cheese when you warm them up.

Overall not bad but I would not buy them again.

Coop Carrot Cake Hot Cross Buns

Although I'm just not a fan of hot cross buns, I look forward to all the different variations each year.

This year, Coop has come out with a Carrot cake hot cross bun.
I love the creativity and how you can visually see the grated carrots which adds to the chewy mouthfeel.
Overall, it was really chew but the grated carrots did add to the mouthfeel.

I would have liked it without the fruit peel and sultanas but then it wouldn't be a hot cross bun!

Mayflower Curry Mix and Southern style gravy mix review

I got this after seeing Adam's Chinese dinner which looked like the real deal and then he told me it was a fakeaway.
Anyway it made me crave for curry sauce so I got the Mayflower curry mix.
It is interesting how it comes in a tub.
The taste of this curry sauce is unbelievably good.
Curry sauce fix satisfied!!
I was so tempted to post his picture because it seriously looked takeaway quality.

Since I was really impressed with the curry I got the Southern style gravy mix expecting it to taste like KFC but I was a bit hesitant because most reviews say it taste like black pepper.

Compared to the curry, the gravy thickened instantly with hot water which was really good compared to the curry.

The only let down was that the Black pepper was too strong like the reviews said and it was a bit too sweet for my palate.

Other than that the aftertaste was nice when the black pepper goes.

Ben's chilli con carne sauce

Ben's used to called Uncle Ben's but has recently changed its name.
Anyway, tried the chilli con carne sauce which was a surprising let down.

I found the sauce tasting more like a spicy ratatouille than a chilli con carne mainly because of the peppers, tomatoees and onions.

Sorry Uncle Ben!

Aldi Strawberry Rhubarb Jam

Aldi has some seriously good conserve options.

On this visit I spotted the black cherry and the Strawberry rhubarb.

Both were very tempting but I ended up getting the strawberry rhubarb because I have previously tried a black cherry jam by another brand.

In the past you could also get rhubarb ginger and damson plum conserve by Aldi. 

Although you couldn't really taste the tartness of the rhubarb it was still really impressive to find more than three intact chunks of rhubarb which makes up for it.

Overall, I was really glad I got this.
