Aldi salted caramel scones

Scones are something I can't resist because they are simply heaven with cream and jam.
Aldi has tempted me again with the salted caramel scone by Haywood Padgett so expect that consistent delicious taste and texture.
What I liked about this salted caramel scone was that it was loaded with salted caramel pieces yet the sweetness was not overwhelming which made it versatile to pair it with any jam.

Baijua Mapo tofu seasoning

Overall, a nice aromatic mapo tofu seasoning which you can use to cook mapo tofu or any dish.

Cauldron Tofu

There are so many brands of tofu about and Cauldron Tofu served its purpose and tasted like tofu.
The texture was just right, not too soft and not too hard.
It worked well as a mapo tofu dish.

Lezza Dessert Kunafa Cheese

There are so many choices for Kunafah at the shops.
I chose Lezza Dessert because the syrup is separate so you can decide how sweet you want it.
It was only 4.40 and you get two pieces inside.
Overall, it was good but you have to bake it longer so that the dessert is rigid enough to plate it.

McVities Salted caramel club review

It has been a while since I had a McVities club because you just take it granted that it is always there and you end up buying other things instead.
Just like your regular club, it has a thin layer of cream on biscuit covered in chocolate.
The salted caramel club was simply lovely good with tea.
It tasted like a twix covered in thick chocolate without the chewy texture.

Ma Ling Canned preserved Chinese Radish (Whole)

Overall, a tasty preserved Chinese Radish which is salty and spicy.
It needs some rinsing before you cook so that the dish won't become overall salty.

ASDA Cherry Bakewell Swiss Roll

Cherry Bakewell is one of those flavours that I do not hesistate to buy.
This time I fell for ASDA's new cherry bakewell Swiss roll which is labelled as Swiss roll swirled with plum and raspberry jam with almond cherry filling.
In a way, it is confusing to see where the cherry almond filling is because the jam part is clear just plum and raspberry.
However when you eat the Swiss roll, there is a prominent cherry almond flavouring but overall too sweet.
Will be having this with some custard or cream to balance the sweetness.
