VIrgin Red Floating ice cream van in London giving out free icecream

Before the event, the initial details were get your free icecream by climbing a 15ft high ladder from a floating truck that’s being held up by nothing but balloons.
Each ice cream can be customized with a variety of red toppings ranging from sweet sprinkles to paprika crisps, chilli flakes, and ketchup (just in case some monsters out there need a savoury refreshment…).
When I arrived, the format was a little different, there was a counter on the side giving away free ice-cream while you were free to take selfies with the floating van.

The location of this was:
Observation Point, 56 Upper Ground, South Bank, SE1 9PP, from 11am to 5pm on Wednesday, July 14.

Sparkling disco ball pizza oven, Rotisserie and Barista style coffee at Marks and Spencers Clapham Junction!

As a regular shopper at M&S, they have always been the best.
Sometimes being the best is not enough and Marks and Spencers have taken to in-store theatres to give that impactful shopping experience.
High end food can't get fresher than that!
At the far end, you have this disco ball pizza oven which dishes out pizzas to go, then there is a cabinet of freshly roasted whole chickens from the rotisserie.

If you feel like coffee, there is barista style drinks as well as freshly baked bakery.

You can see that the store shifts the show during the day from breakfast to freshly made.
Basically, they have laid it out deli style with a wraps section, sushi section etc.

Everything is in simplistic wrapping and see through design so you can see how tasty it is and basically screaming at you to eat me now!

On the other side, you will find a cheese section as well with their own branded cheese as well as other artisan cheeses.

When you come in you are greeted with a floral section of greenerey followed by fresh and colourful fruits and veg!

I am so just glad I visited this store as it was a wonderful experience.
This is not new but it is similar to Eataly in Liverpool Street with the different sections of fresh, cookery stalls etc.
Currently, there are a few of these stores in the UK.

Co-op Prawns with Marie Rose Dipping Sauce

Since the prawns were reduced and looked ok I decided to try the Prawns with Marie Rose Dipping Sauce.
The prawns were bouncy but there was a strange fishy smell but the texture was not mushy hence they were still good to eat.
The Marie Rose sauce was quite nice.
I would give it a higher rating but the smell knocked it down.

Morrisons Cheese & Ham Chicken Kievs

I have been put off eating Kievs since trying Okane as well as some other brand because the chicken meat is just weird.
The Morrisons cheese and ham filling was really nice but the processed chicken wasn't as it contained grounded soft bones.
In that respect, Iceland's processed chicken was much better.

Morrisons Cheese and Jalapeno bread

When you toast this there is a really strong smoky jalapeno smell.
Unfortunately, the cheese is near to non existent because you can't taste it.
Visibly, there are a few strands of cheese on the crust.
As for the taste, I found it very spicy.
Adding Lidl's Mcenedy squeezy cheese to it made much nicer but overall not my cup of tea.

Sainsbury's Summer Edition Chip Shop Vinegar Mayo

I love mayonnaise and vinegar with chips so when Sainsburys came out with the Summer Edition Chip Shop Vinegar Mayo I just had to try it.
It was only 85p for 280ml which is a good size for trying a mayonnaise that is different and I am so glad I tried it.
There was a lovely vinegar smell when I peeled the seal off that I kept taking big whiffs.
The vinegar was surprisingly punchy so people who love lots of vinegar on their food will love this.
As well as the vinegar you have the creaminess of the mayonnaise which is heaven.
Definitely the best invention ever because the vinegar is evenly infused with the mayo.
85p too well spent!!!!!
Think of it like a Marie Rose/prawn cocktail sauce without the sweetness,
I shall be buying a few more bottles as this is a summer product meaning it shall be gone by autumn or while stocks last.

Krispy Kreme's new ice cream inspired doughnuts

Krispy Kreme has just launched these ice cream inspored doughnuts today!
They are the New mint choc chip and raspberry ripple donut.
As I fan of mint chocolate, I did not hesitate and got the mint chocolate.
To my dismay, it tasted rancid despite it was just launched today and the unpleasant taste was more prominent than the lovely mint choc.
Evidently I was unlucky because they usually taste ok.
Visually you can also see that the chocolate is not filled right through like the product shot.
To summarize that was my sweet quota today and 2.10 well wasted.
Again, I don't know why I bothered buying from akk kiosk when you can get it cheaper at supermarket cabinets where you can pick a nice one too.
