Tesco Plant Chef No Egg Cress Sandwich

This is the third no egg & cress sandwich I have tried following M&S and Sainsburys.
The Tesco version has a strong tofu taste while the Sainsburys one is more flavourful.
The M&S one had a starchy texture because of the beans and didn't contain tofu.
To summarize, Sainsburys is my favourite of the three.

M&S The Original Beef bolognese

Marks &Spencer have launched a new range of pastas with an amazing choice as well as the Italian dine in series.
Last week I tried the beef bolognese and discovered that the Italian dine in also had a beef and bolognese which I suspect are the same because the descriptions are identical.
As expected the taste was the same so I definitely recommended this if you are going for the Italian dine in offer.
The ragu made with beef and pork was really tasty with the saltiness from the pancetta.
Overall, another tasty pasta that was filling as the tagliatelle hung the ragu well.

MS Marks Spencer Cumberland Fish Pie

I love a good fish pie with a cheesy sauce which calls for the Cumberland Fish pie.
The M&S version is scd pieces in a creamy cheese sauce, topped with mashed potato and a cheese and herb crumb.
You can either reheat in the microwave or oven but reheating it in the oven does the cheese and herb crumb justice and it brings out the cheesy flavours in the mash
Overall, it was really comforting but I would have liked more sauce at the bottom as it was a bit dry.

MS Marks Spencer steamed prawn dim sum

For dim sum, you normally get 3 to 4 pieces per portion so getting six pieces of the prawn dim sum makes it better for sharing!
The prawn dim sum heated nicely in the microwave but times will vary according the power of your microwave.
Overall, the prawn dim sum was good as they stayed in one piece and the prawn filling was meaty with a gingery kick.

M&S Marks Spencer Chicken Dhansak

As a curry lover I feel that I have to try every curry in the M&S range!
The chicken Dhansak was one that I have not tried so tried it.
According to the sleeve, the Dhansak curry is Chana lentils in a hot and sour sauce with chicken.
The curry itself was quite spicy and as th sleeve said had lots of lentils.
I felt that this curry was not for me as I am not a fan of lentil but it would make a nutritious curry if lentils are your thing.

M&S Marks Spencer Steak & Kidney Pie

I just love Steak and Kidney pie, well who doesn't from the UK.
The M&S version is really good as they do not skimp on the kidney as you will find quite a few pieces.
The filling is rich and tasty as you would expect.

Beppino occelli burro butter

Spotted some swanky butter at M&S so decided to try it.
The Beppino occelli burro butter is made with Italian sweet skimmed cream only which is pressed in a wooden mould which gives the embossed cow.
However it was quite hot that day I bought it so the cow was partially gone!
I found the butter extremely fragrant on toast with an aromatic and strong butter taste without the saltiness.
Overall, I was really glad I tried it.
