M&S Marks and Spencers Giant Crumpet

At M&S, they now have new giant crumpets.
Sometimes I do eat two crumpets in one go so the large come in handy.
The texture is nice and squidgyly springy just like the regular ones.
Overall, the size is equivalent to the Valentine's heart crumpet by M&S I reviewed a while ago.
Note Warburtons also have giant crumpets originally in a pack of three, now two I think.

Sainsbury's Deliciously Free From spaghetti bolognese

While I was at Sainsburys, I came across the Deliciously Free From spaghetti bolognese so decided to try it.
The tomato sauce was rich and strong with quality mince beef and it was very tasty but the only complaint was the short cut spaghetti.
In general it is hard to fail on the taste of spaghetti bolognese but some countries in Asia just can't get the taste right or perhaps they have a different set of tastes buds.

Lidl Spicy Chicken arrabiata sourdough pizza

Again, I had no expectations from the spicy chicken arrabbiata pizza from lidl but it turned out really good.
The spicy chicken had a decent fiery kick while the pizza base and toppings were spot on but for that price tag I would buy other brands.

Other pizzas Lidl have in the range.

M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds Hot Dog Pasta

The Marks and Spencers Taste Buds Hot Dog Pasta is simply delicious.
The pairing of pork sausages and tangy tomato sauce is just comforting.
English style Pork sausages are just the best over Frankfurter style sausages.
There is something special about the pasta shapes because they have a nice firm springy texture.

M&S Marks Spencers New Coronation Chicken Scotch Egg

New Coronation Chicken Scotch Egg from @marksandspencer

Although it is new to M&S, I have seen other meats on scotch eggs ranging from Classic, Black Pudding, Chorizo, Haddock, Chicken, Sage and Cranberry and the Vegetarian at the village market.

I was expecting the to taste sweet and fruity but the cumin was quite prominent so it tasted like a middle Eastern style Scotch egg.

Not bad but I prefer the regular Scotch Egg.

M&S Marks Spencer Plant kitchen Cauliflower Popcorn

I love trying the Plant Kitchen range at M&S, this time tried the cauliflower popcorn which is just deep fried battered mini cauliflower florets with a spicy buffalo chilli dip.
Overall, I found them rather bland in taste and relied heavily on the spicy buffalo chilli dip.
As well as the buffalo dip, I dipped the cauliflower popcorn in soy wasabi which also went well as it was like eating tempura cauliflower.

M&S Marks and Spencers Cook With Salmon in ginger and soy

Salmon is delicious but it is difficult to cook because it has to be precisely cooked to the right temperature and time for the best texture.
So for someone fussy like me, it has to be just right.
Ended up getting the Marks and Spencers Cook With Salmon in ginger and soy which is already marinated and all you do it grill it.
To my surprise, it was a one of the good pieces of salmon I have had because the texture was just right and the sweet glaze was so delicious.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this.
