M&S Marks and Spencers Cook With Salmon in ginger and soy

Salmon is delicious but it is difficult to cook because it has to be precisely cooked to the right temperature and time for the best texture.
So for someone fussy like me, it has to be just right.
Ended up getting the Marks and Spencers Cook With Salmon in ginger and soy which is already marinated and all you do it grill it.
To my surprise, it was a one of the good pieces of salmon I have had because the texture was just right and the sweet glaze was so delicious.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this.
Rating: 4/5

M&S cook with Asian Style Salmon fillets with soy, honey & chilli glaze

Mark Spencer hoisin trout fillets with fresh coriander

Taiko Prawn cocktail rolls and poke

I love trying Asian food in the UK because the creativity and flavours generally impress and sometimes taste even better than Hong Kong.
The Taiko prawn cocktail rolls captivated me because I love prawn cocktail but the Asian twist to it was simply delicious.
In the roll, there were prawns, avocado and yuzu mayo.
Overall, the taste was so good because the yuzu mayo gave it a refreshing twist to the prawns.
The only complaint was the avocado as there was quite a good deal in it which I don't mind because I love creamy avocado but it was rather raw which made it crunchy and really stand out in every roll that it distracted me from the prawns.
Rating: 3/5

Also tried the poke and it was quite nice.

Exploding candy, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, milk crunchy, toffee crunch · All made with real orange oil.

McVities New Jaffa Jonuts £2.20 at Tescos

The wait is over! The new Jaffa Cake jonuts!
2.20 at Tescos, I bet they will be cheaper with a Tescos clubcard later.
Anyway it was like eating a Madeleine moist slightly oily cake texture with chocolate on top and some orange flavouring.
The orange filling is nothing like the jelly in your regular jaffa cake but more like a syrupy paste.
Overall very sweet and it was like eating a ring shaped chocolate orange CAKE.
If you don't want a box of four, they will be sold individually at 60p.
Let's hope that they will launch other Jonut flavours in the future just like their jaffa cakes for non orange fans.
The jonut flavours I'd most like to see would be the cherry, strawberry or pineapple.

Finishing the last disgusting jonut with chocolate cream.
[Glad they were individually wrapped as I got rid of two jonuts by giving them away.]
It actually tasted nice but then its really the cream that was nice.

Reduced calories mars, twix and snickers bars

While I was at Asda, I spotted these reduced calories mars, twix and snickers bars.
I expect them to be equivalent to eating 2 or 2.5 portions from the Celebrations assortment.
At the moment, they are only 25p each at ASDA.
Since the twix one is basically the same size as the regular twix, I think it tastes the same as the regular twix but the mars and snickers are the probably the same as the ones in the celebration box.
