M&S Marks Spencers Gefilte Fish Balls

If you have been to Hong Kong, you might have seen these fishballs which are popular Chinese snacks.
They are usually plain or in curry sauce where you can add optional chili sauce to them.
Anyway, in the Jewish cuisine, they also have fish balls called Gefilte Fish Balls.
The M&S ones are a traditional combination of cod, haddock and matzo meal which are ready to eat hot or cold.
Different countries will use a different fish mix due to sustainability.
I was really impressed with the Gefilte Fish Balls because you could really smell the fish and it tastes of fish, the only thing I didn't like was the sweetness.
These fishballs are made with a substantial amount of fish hence the texture is similar to fishcake.
Comparing these to the Hong Kong ones, Gefilte fish balls taste much better because of the fish content while the Hong Kong ones are just bouncy and chewy as there is more proportion of flour to fish.
As well as Jewish fish balls, the Norwegian fish balls are delicious and again because it contains more fish.
Overall, I definitely recommmend these if you like fish cakes.

M&S Marks and Spencers Cook With Tarragon

I love tarragon because it is such an aromatic herb and goes well with fish, lemon and chicken.

This time I paired it with salmon which was a wonderful combition.

M&S Marks and Spencers Select farms Lamb, garlic & rosemary chipolatas

It's not the first time I've eaten lamb sausages so decided to the M&S version.
Unfortunately they were a bit too gamey.

M&S Marks Spencer Katsu chicken curry sushi snack review

Although the chicken curry roll is probably the star of the show in this box of sushi, I was actually drawn to the purple one.

Overall, quite a tasty box of sushi and my favourite was probably the chicken and purple cabbage.
Not a fan of carrot.

Coop Easter Lemon Iced cross buns

I love iced buns so got the Easter Lemon Iced cross buns from Coop which are supposed to decorated with crossses.
I had a real job choosing a good one because the crosses were not decorated properly so I chose this pack which had a cross for the photo.
It was the usual coop bready ice bun but the lemon icing was much nicer than anitipicated.

Went to coop again a week later and these are how the buns should look.
