Tesco Lamb rogan josh with pilau rice review

I loved the Tesco Lamb rogan josh with pilau rice because the tomato yoghurt was really appetizing and the chunks of lamb were tender and not too fat.

The spice aroma in the rice were a bit too overwhelming but when you eat it with the lamb, everything is in harmony.

New Wispa chocolate mousse review

I am quite confused why the Wispa chocolate mousse is new because I'm sure it has been around a few years ago or was it Cadburys chocolate mousse.

If you have eaten a wispa chocolate bar, you would know that it has fine bubbles finers than aero so I was expecting the mousse to have finer bubbles than your regular mousse.

It turns out the texture was quite dense and the taste was a bit too sugary for my liking.

Quorn sausage roll review

I have tried quite a few vegan sausage rolls so far.
The Quorn sausage roll is another delicious one because the pastry and filling were perfect.
The pastry was not too dry and the filling was well seasoned yet not too salty.
I find it odd that it comes in a pack of three rather than 2 or 4.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen New York style no salt beef roll

Marks and Spencers have launched an incredible range for veganuary and my eyes were drawn to the New York style no salt beef roll and the Shanghai no beef noodle because there isn't much mock beef around.
Mostly you will find vegan beef burgers which is just a patty and the rest are protein pieces of vegan chicken and pork.
In Asia you will find omnipork which is just like minced pork.
Hopefully the vegan beef in the New York style no beef and the Shanghai no beef are the same because it will save me trying noodles as I like the roll better.
As an omnivore, I was impressed how the texture of the vegan beef was like pulled beef belly which makes it ideal in this New York style roll.
It was amazing how they developed this because putting a vegan style pulled beef in a pretzel style roll was a match in heaven.
You can imagine yourself having a Salt beef beigel inpired treat where the gherkins and saukeraut made the whole thing come alive.
The Pretzel roll gives it that chew like a beigel yet not that chewy.
I appreciated all the strong tastes and pickles in the roll.
Overall, I definitely recommend this New York style no salt beef roll whether you are a vegan or not.

Gastone Lago frollini con cacao e nocciole

Discovered these pretty hazelnut and cocao cookies which were worth posting.

I love hazelnuts and I love chocolate so these cookies have my two favourite elements.

The best thing is that they are pretty with the white dusted stars and shapes.

The new eat well range at M&S Marks and Spencers - cod fillet with potato pea crush review

Earlier this year, M&S launched the eat well range which is designed to be nutritious as well as delicious.

The range was impressive with chicken, vegetarian and fish all paired with tasty sides like black rice and vegetables.

I ended up getting the M&S Marks and Spencers eat well cod fillet with potato pea crush which I found similar to cod with parsley sauce but it had a side of kale which is a super veg.

The kale was surprisingly nice microwaved because it was soft and tender, the potato pea crush was satisfying in the cheesy sauce and chunky cod fillet so I definitely recommend it.

eat well range: Teriyaki chicken & black rice, Buddha bowl, chicken katsu curry, Moroccan style chicken, tikka chicken, coconut curry.
